I ordered on 08/02 (got JLUR w/manual transmission & left dealer with VON same day)! When did you get your VIN?

.... Trying to decide if I should call my guy or not when I last asked him on Friday.... ? ?
I asked via email on 8/10 and they provided me the VIN. Not sure exactly what day it showed up, though.

Canadian here, ordered on 08/02 (& got VON before I walked away from dealer). I was told not to expect a VIN for a month or two, but now people who ordered within a day or two of me are getting VINs, got me wondering.... Wondering if I should ask my guy again today when I only asked him on on Friday....
my dealer told me that they prioritize US jeeps over Canadian while building...

The inconsistency with builds/wait time boils down to trim level and options. I’m guessing people who order HA/SOT/advance safety will be waiting longer.

For sure.... then there's me over here wondering if I should reconsider the all weather floor mats on the off chance they affect my order wait time....

I had the floor mats on my order and my dealer highly recommended removing them for this very reason. He said they are a common cause of delays in deliveries.

Yep. Got the all weathers in my order also and have been wondering the same thing.

The only reason I included them in my order is because if the estimated 6 month time I was given is correct, my jeep will be arriving in the middle of winter, and I'll want some kind of all weather mats for sure, and it's just easier to have the jeep come with them than worrying about getting them after the fact and getting the carpets all muddy

If the Jeep is taking that long, then you can always order them elsewhere, before it arrives, and get exactly what you want, without delaying your order.

You can order them directly from Mopar and probably have them before you get your Jeep: https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/m...ats-82215202ae?c=bD0zJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM=

Any Canadian order that isn't bone stock without added extras tends to take that long from what I understand, even just adding Tow, LED, & steel bumpers adds on quite a few extra weeks.... I'll give it some thought and maybe make give my guy a call and have them removed.... Though, a few extra weeks because of floor mats wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, as it will allow me to save for a bigger deposit..... Or let me start buying parts after I hit my goal for the downpayment...
