26,000 without mods…well besides window tint and the dorky little antenna…
This weekend I did a 2.5 metal cloak true dual rate lift with the rock sport shocks.
35x12.5 KMC GRS wheels wrapped in MT Baja boss At tires.

next up is a bumper, and winch

gained probably around 4.5” tot

It actually rides significantly better than factory.

Put the last few touches on this project for now. Time to enjoy!

JCR Mauler stubby
RC 9500lb pro series winch
RC 30” hood mount light bar

got the winch and light bar wired to switches I installed in the cab. Didn’t like the way rough country’s switch looked

Winch is on a solenoid to break 12v from battery. Have to finish that up yet to be 100%

Really nice build. I am doing similar with a 2021 Willys 2-door. MC 2.5" lift and armor are done. Stubby bumper and winch coming this week. Next up, tires.

How is it on the road with those larger tires? I'm assuming you have the stock gear ratio. I'm going to go ahead an find out anyway but interested in your experience.

Yep, stock ratio. To be honest with you, it’s really not bad. I lost a few MPG with the lift and tires as well as the frequency of 8th gear (it still does see it)
Other than that it’s great
2.0T still has plenty of get up and go
These particular tires are much quieter than the factory MT’s.

Thanks, sounds like it is tolerable. Yes, the stock MTs are very noisy and I have a soft top. I won't miss these tires when they are gone :)

Some updates as of Recent include Cav Fab 2.5 ton steering as a got the wobbles after a hunting trip. Solved it but I still get a little shimmy/slop over a bump. Plan to replace the ball joints. Ordered up a set of Apex non knurled.

I also added the Rough Country tail gate reinforcement to help with the tailgate rattle on trail. I can see what’s happening but this product do absolutely nothing. Tire weight causes tailgate to sag and when hitting washboards or rocky trails it rattles up and down so when I shut the gate I just lift up a little to help not destroy anything. Eventually will maybe go with something a little more premium that mounts where the factory hinges do.

Just catching up with a TON of posts I’ve not gotten too.

Looks like a nice build you have going on there. I wish I could go with a lift, but at my age of 70 with a wife that is short, I have limits to follow.

I love the Willys Package! Mine has JUST enough to make it a more serious Jeep that a stock Sport without the cost of the Ribicon.

My upgrade list for this spring is new tires, 285/70-17 BFG’s on stock black wheels, KATSKINZ Leather upgrade with seat heaters, and a Leather Wrapped Steering wheel to get rid of the plastic stock one. That should be enought for this year….
