I have 2020 wrangler with roughly 28k on it, immed after the dealer did its “inspection” upon buying out the lease, my jeep began to periodically not start on the first try. After several attempts it will start. I first changed the batteries in the remote, then had the main/aux batteries changed. Most recently had the starter changed. This has been going on for a year and a half without anything actually breaking.. any ideas as to what else it could be? It is currently back at the garage my mechanic hasn’t been able to get it to not start.. it’s there for one more night, before I move onto another garage.

Mine sometimes doesn't start on first try. But always on 2nd. I chock it up to "Jeep normal". Is yours worse than this?

Hi, yes it happens almost every time I get in from a cold start. I should add, I know when it is going to happen. I step on the break and it’s like stepping on a brick, it doesn’t budge.

There’s nothing wrong with it, press the brake harder.
