I just don't buy the argument that trade-in values will be significantly different 3 months from now. Also a fully loaded 2019 is maybe $500-$600 more than the same configuration on a 2018.I ordered mine just before the $500 price increase in July. It however got stuck for over a month in I status, so it just shipped TODAY. That plus most of the options I ordered went up. For the record, If I was this person I'd probably wait and get the 2019. The price difference is probably not enough to justify the year depreciation, but I would run the numbers on what the 2019 is going to cost vs what the 2018 is apples to apples and then decide. And given that 2019's will likely not be delivered until December or January trade in values will be adjusted down then.
