I am preparing to add wiring and switching to support new lighting and misc accessories based on the attached sketch. This is my first major wiring project (on a vehicle) and I would love some feedback on the approach. Some potential comments I am aware of that may come up:
1.) 12 AWG. Lots of reasons for this. I don't want to invest in multiple wire sizes, worry about voltage drop, I do want flexibility and durability.
2.) I do not plan on altering the existing device circuitry. I.E., I am aware i could remove the factory fog lights and add the new ones in its place. My experience tells me to avoid this approach since the vehicle is under warranty still. The intent is to run new wires and abandon in place the factory harness.
3.) Along the lines of item 2 I am adding a new aux PDC that is triggered from the RUN_START circuit.
I am looking forward to the feedback.
