Had some fun at the Silver Lake dunes (MI) yesterday. If you haven't been there, and it's within a reasonable distance, I highly recommend it.

I know there are 2 camps on the 2.0 and very little middle ground. But I have to say I'm thrilled with that motor. It's not a race car, but it's a spunky little powertrain and yesterday reaffirmed it to me again.

Went with a group of folks yesterday and had fun goofing around. We eventually found our way to the "drag strip." Here are some results.

Jeep 2.0 vs Gladiator. I'm not sure what the trims are on Gladiators and if they're the same as Wrangler, but it wasn't a Rubicon. So tires are a factor here.

Here I am (I'm the gray one) against a JK and a Raptor (both friends). The Raptor rightfully wins, but didnt smoke me as bad as I would have expected.

Here I am against the Raptor and a Range Rover. That Range Rover would leave us both like we were standing still on pavement and it starts pulling back here. But tires were again a factor for him.

Here was a good start (the Jeep that jumps is a 392 conversion from before they were offered by Jeep). There's also a bronco here. had a good start but I had to get out of it because I was yawing and drifting towards the Raptor.
