2 JLs and a TJ run Spring Creek Trail near Idaho Springs, CO

Yesterday I finally was able to run this trail that I’ve been wanting to for a couple years now. It has an optional obstacle early in the trail called the wall and I was nervous about it. Turned out to be challenging but we all conquered it after a try or twenty!
Here’s the highlight video of us crawling our way up this super steep rock crawler of a trail!

Is it just me or is it noticeable the TJ did exceptionally well?

I ran John Bull and Holcomb creek a few weeks ago…. The rock gardens have some similarity. They are all exceptional Jeep trails in my opinion!

Is it just me or is it noticeable the TJ did exceptionally well?

That TJ is on Dana 60’s and built very well! That said, it took him 20 tries to get up the wall (we didn’t put all the failed attempts into the video) and my JL took 2 tries……. He was trying a line that was just not going to let him up until I showed him the line and he crawled right up!

Spring Creek is a fun trail for sure. Tough, but fun. We did it last year and only 2 of us got up the Wall. 2 had to turn around after it started raining. That granite starts to get slick when it's wet! Both rigs that made it up took the far right line and took some damage from that tree. Oops!
