New one looks like it may have more air flow. Otherwise not much difference to me, little more fancy with the 24.

Good to know, thanks! Still not crazy about it, but nice that you can interchange it with the old one. And while it might be more "intricate" compared to the old one, I'm betting it's cheaper to manufacturer (since Jeep couldn't pull a grille delete off like they did with the engine cover, lol).

Now I'm wondering, how in the hell did the new '24 grilles end up at a Jeep fest in my little town? ?

I rather like not having a grill right now, but I do like the look of those new grills. Especially with the color matching outer edges and the black center. It looks really edgy and forward if you ask me.

While I don't like the look of the new grill, because the slots don't extend all the way to the bottom, there is the new "Filler Panel" section at the bottom, which is recessed. This seems to allow more room for the winch - maybe, just maybe, they were influenced because they're installing their own winch now - an M8000 though is a lot smaller than my 10-s!

Yes, my grill is contacting the winch - not just the solenoid pack, but the body as well. I have to bend the grill to install it - but hey, it's pretty flexible!

funny, I was in that booth today and didn't even pay attention to the grills... Maybe that's when Matt was out doing the swap!

The 24 B&P Performance Satin Black Grille By Mopar option shows the genuine JL grill, so unless it’s screwed up (which is not unlikely) you can option it for $325

They probably still have a lot of “old” grille stock to push out, or are still under contract with the old grille supplier to buy more. “Just slap em’ on the cheaper models!” ??
