Got this a few minutes ago:

Standing by our Jeep® Brand family
We are reaching out to you as a Jeep® 4xe owner because a limited number of customers
have reported battery-related issues on certain 4xe vehicles. Please accept our sincerest
apologies. As a valued member of the Jeep family, you deserve a reassuring ownership
experience, and we are truly sorry if this situation caused any disappointment or concern.
While most 4xe vehicles are not affected, we understand how unsettling this news may be.
Please know that we take your feedback seriously and are proactively addressing the
concerns that have been brought to our attention.
As a small but immediate gesture of our apology and acknowledgment of any inconvenience
this may have caused, we are providing eligible customers with a $100 Mastercard® gift card
to help cover unexpected fuel costs since you are being asked to not travel in EV mode. To
claim your $100 Mastercard® gift card, please contact us at 866-220-6747 (hotline
is available 24x7 for your convenience). To confirm your eligibility, you will be asked to
provide your name, VIN, and email address.
Additionally, FCA US is providing a warranty extension for the high-voltage battery related to
this condition. Coverage terms will be communicated to affected owners in accordance
with regulatory requirements.
We want you to feel fully supported throughout this process, so we will make a loaner
vehicle available to you through your local dealership as needed.
Jeep is committed to
standing by our owners. We want to ensure that you remain confident and feel taken care of
every step of the way.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued trust. We are genuinely sorry
for any frustration this situation may have caused and remain committed to supporting you as
a valued member of the Jeep community.

Seems he isn't aware that 100% of the 4xe he built is under the same recall.

Jeep is trying to claim it's only limited to a few people who happened to report a fire, not the large number of battery replacements that have been happening which would have resulted in a fire.

And what exactly is $100 supposed to do, is can't even cover a fraction of the gas used for the last 3 fire recalls.

There was also another $100 give away the last recall, that most people didn't receive 😂

I was surprised they didn't ask me to sign or consent to some kind of waiver to get the $100. I only got an e-mail for one of my VIN's but the rep was able to process a card for both of them. I know it's only $200, but it's more than I thought I'd get from them over this.

Figured I'd share just in case anyone who didn't get the e-mail wants to try calling for it.

I tried to call about our two 4xe's, was told there is "more than a 20 minute wait". Will they increase the payment amount to compensate for the wait time, or should I get up at 4:00 AM and try then?

They hope by putting up barriers they would only have to give out very few $100.

It's 2025, they can send an email with a unique link that requires your VIN to redeem.

I am still willing to guess that them giving and the customer accepting the $100 still works to their advantage if there is a future legal case against them. Did you read all of the small print?

I didn't get the email but I do have the 68C recall. I hope they're still sending them out.

Yeah $100 is wild. $100 in gas money means 1.5 tanks and about half a week of driving for my Jeep. 😂

Now running at 11 mpg, got 115 miles from half a tank of gas, was in Florida for a few days so I didn't drive much for the week.

Rented a Red Wrangler, it only had 600 miles on it, almost tempted me to get another gasser. But ultimately I'm not a fan of the 2024+, just wish they would fix the 4xe which they can, but they are cheap. The red Wrangler wasn't getting 11 mpg either 😂

That big screen is bright AF, and doesn't seem to dim with the dimmer wheel like the 8.4.

The 2024+ single dimmer wheel is confusing, you have to move the dimmer wheel down 1 or 2 notches (I forget which) and only then will the infotainment menu brightness levels kick in.

I called the gift card number twice during the afternoon and both times it said wait times were greater than 20 minutes, so I hung up. I called again at 1:40am and it said wait time was less than 3 minutes, but then immediately connected me to Jeep support, so zero wait time.

It was a typical call center experience with lots of background noise and heavy accents and I could hear the word "$100" a couple times, so calls were coming in...

They told me it would be a month, but to check in two weeks in case I get lucky and it comes sooner than expected. I still have not received any email from Jeep about this, so thanks for posting the email and phone number!

I still have not received a recall notice, but I'm getting hammered by Jeep marketing to buy a new Jeep 😂

I also think 100% of these batteries will be replaced, and multiple times per vehicle, Jeep should call up Musk and ask him to make the replacement batteries.

Yeah, I'm getting tons of form emails from my dealership's manager, even though he was the one who put my new order in for me.

It seems like they are really trying to clear out their lots.

Got an email today $150 CAD, the extra $8 on the US exchange is probably to make up for the elusive loaner rental that is non existent here, according to Jeep CSR he doesn't know anything about loaners or rentals.

Maybe on the 4th or 5th or 6th fire recall they might kick in a loaner.

Weird, the hotline phone number is the same as the one in the US emails, but the US ones say it is open 24/7. I called at 1:40am and it sounded busy. I wonder if they scaled it back or if they can simply turn it off for Canadian originated calls...Maybe I should call back and ask for an additional $8!

I got a random e-Gift Card earlier today. Thought it was spam, but I’m pretty sure it’s the gift card from Jeep. Came in from MyPaymentVault.com but no mention of Jeep. I was able to redeem it on Amazon.
