My 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL is leaking, and from what I’ve been reading, it seems like it’s common for the oil cooler to be the one leaking. In your experience, do you recommend replacing it right away, or could it be something else?
Hi Guys,
I'd like to post this thread as a resource for the DIY guys who need to tackle a cam or lifter swap on their 3.6L. This information covers the 2018-2025 JL wrangler and JT Gladiator as well. As for the repair there are many excellent Youtube videos available that explain each step...
Hey y'all getting together a bit of a novel here to hopefully get some @JeepCares visibility and also add some volume to the chorus with this particular failure mode we're seeing on the upgraded 3.6 on the JLs and other Jeep platforms.
But first a little bit history:
I love wranglers. My first...
Hi everyone, started hearing this noise since yesterday, whenever i turn off the engine this clunk noise comes from underneath. The Jeep has 36000 miles and never heard this before until yesterday. 2020 JL 3.6 2 door sport S.
So I posted awhile back looking for help with this code. The check engine light appeared at only 300kms on the trip home from pick up. A bit frustrating to say the least, but no power was lost. After the initial trip to the dealership they said it was related to the cooling system for the...
Hi everyone,
Any news on when or if the the new mild-hibrid eTorque engine will arrive in Australia for the Jeep Wrangler JL? I haven’t seen many reviews, so far.
I also wonder how will the JL perform when crossing water streams...
Thanks,
Pedro
Is anyone else’s JLU vibrating gently, intermittently at idle. It’s like it’s just slightly out of time. There’s no visual indication on the tach or on the body... I can just feel it, ever so slightly. Is this a Jeep/Pentastar thing?
Hi All,
BACKGROUND
So I've been working on this 2018 JL Rubicon build (https://goo.gl/pEDi1S) for a while now, it's all coming together slowly, but I wanted to get an opinion from people other than those that are selling the vehicle to me.
I will not be going for hard-core rock-crawling: if...
The 2018 owners manual says "It is recommended that the Start/Stop System be disabled during off-road use." Likewise, Start/Stop (ESS) is automatically disabled when the transfer case is in 4LO. This is all well and good for off-roading. The integration of eTorque/BSG and the ESS system for the...
Any thoughts on whether the manual trans will or will not be available with the 3.6 with BSG?
I'm also wondering if we'll know how the pentastar will perform with BSG before MY '18 production ends..
