  1. Front Driveshaft on Metal Cloak 3.5" Lift

For those with the Metal Cloak 3 1/2" lift, is it really important to measure for a new front drive-shaft, if so, what measurement are you coming up with. I would think it would be the same for all, if the same lift is used. Wouldn't the slip joint make-up for slight differences. I'm trying...
  2. Fox 2.5 DSC on Metal Cloak 392 3 1/2" Lift

Talked to MC the other day, apparently you can go with Fox 2.5 DSC shocks listed for a 4.5-6" lift. They more closely match the extend and compress specifications for their Rocksport shocks. I went with the front ending in 052 and the rear ending in 056, which where in stock. I'm also getting...
  3. Rockslide Engineering Steps Gen 3

Has anyone installed these steps on their 392? The instructions I got with the steps are tailored to the JL. The videos don't talk about 392 either. Specifically I was wondering how the cable harness is routed from the battery to the cross member. I'm seeing lots of heat tape in that area...

  7. Tazer Mini Install

Is anyone else having trouble removing the two SGW cable above the OBD2 connector? I assume I have to press-in a tab on each connector and pull at the same time to unplug the SGW cables. My Mitts just don't fit in that small space and I'm afraid of breaking the cable assembly or my hand...
  8. 392 Problems

After I picked up the 392 at the dealer 8/31, about 100 miles away, I noticed a coolant leak when I arrived home. I took it to my local dealer the next day and had it "repaired" the following day. The first photo shows where it was leaking on day one. It's on the back of the water pump housing...
  9. The Wait is over!!

Finally brought the beast home yesterday...very hard keeping under 55 and not more than 3500 rpm for the 1st 100 miles. What a machine...WOW!!!
  10. Waiting....

Thought I was taking delivery of the 392 today....It was shipped by rail to the destination rail lot early yesterday....now I have to wait for a truck carrier to get it to the dealer. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas to come...time has slowed down to a crawl...I think this is...
