2022 diesel JLUR with 91,000 miles. I'm throwing a few codes that could be a clogged manifold or swirl valves. My warranty is good on the engine 'til 100,000, so I want to bring it in to a dealer with a GOOD diesel mechanic to check it out. Any recommendations in Washington State? Prefer...
2022 JLURd. For some unknown reason, the dash switches (front), as well as the factory Aux switches, are not back lighting at night time. I checked the dimmer switches, the rear window lockout, per other conversations here, but no joy.
Searches on line got me nothing as well.
I can't...
2022 Rubicon take offs - removed from Unlimited Diesel on 2nd day of ownership. Both in "new" condition.
Alpine amp and plastic surround, including the piece that surrounds the roll bar. $200 ?? or best offer.
Front and rear seat carpet. SInce it's from a diesel it's rumored to be a bit...
As the title implies, I didn't listen to those wiser than I and bought a cheapy fuel filter for my 3.0 diesel. It was actually just bought as a spare to carry on trips, but I was out of the good ones, so I grabbed this out of my supply to install. When I tried to seat the filter on the...
Help bail a brother out here - I bought 5 brand new Fifteen52 Analog HD wheels for my ride but won't be using them. A bit too much poke for this old bloke.
I love the look of them and they are top quality. If you looking for an homage to retro with minimal bling, these are the wheels you...
I just replaced my factory 2022 JLU Rubicon Diesel suspension and the original parts are up for grabs (upgraded to a Clayton 1.5" lift - and lovin' it).
Zero issues with it - just 25,059 easy geezer miles on it with a few BDR trips to properly exercise them as they should be.
Shocks, sway...
2022 JLUR diesel. I put a homemade front bumper and Warn 12,000 w/steel cable; the weight causing a bit too much slope. I didn't want a lot of lift, so I went with the 1.5" Clayton Overland package with Fox 2.0 shocks after research here and on line elsewhere.
VERY impressed - great quality...
2022 JLUR with several "poor man mods" (i.e. homemade). I am aiming for a low key, inconspicuous but capable ride. (Low key to avoid attracting unwanted attention from the Skels while traveling in 3rd world areas such as downtown Seattle or Portland.)
This is my first trial fit of the home...
I removed my factory 3rd brake light shortly after purchase for better visibility when backing, planning on replacing it with something more out of the way (Mopar relocation kit, LED ring, etc.). I finally got around to a DIY fix, but will still need to raise it up 1.75" for better visibility...
I have the full factory suspension off a '21 Unlimited Rubicon diesel. Shocks, springs, bump stops, trailing arms, etc. I got it off another forum member and have no need for it. Looks like it's in great shape with low miles; each piece is clearly marked for location, direction, and corner...
I just finished a solo run on the Washington BDR - 4 days on the trail, 697 miles (with a few wrong turns, re-routes, and explorations), great views, and very worth doing. I was running a block stock 2022 Rubicon diesel unlimited. I used the lockers a few times, but I think a stock Sport or...
2022 Rubicon with all kinds of factory electrical voodoo on it. The only ads I’ve put on so far are a Warn winch and a GMRS radio, both wired directly to the battery. No previous issues with them.
I’m on day 3 of the Washington BDR so near constant 4x4, but slow and steady.
Today both of my...
I'm looking to replace my factory Rubicon subwoofer and surrounding panel(s) with a non-woofer set. I removed it with less than 1000 miles and it's in perfect shape.
Nothing wrong with it - I just can't hear a difference with or without it and I'd like the extra space for a sleeping platform...
2022 JLURD.
I've seen it mentioned here by a few folk, but couldn't find anything "official" on the topic.
Can we run Freedom panels without the top or doors? I put them on without the rear portion of the top and they seem mostly secure, but I can still wiggle the outside rear corner a bit...
I've been a lurker up til now, picking through your knowledgeable postings for tidbits of interest, ending up with a 2022 JLURD about 3 weeks ago from Kent at Peterson's in Idaho. Instantly feel at home in it. This is my 7th Jeep (4 CJ5s, a Jeepster, and a TJ) and without a doubt is the most...
