I wouldn't think more than a couple of minutes. But these are made to be able to stay on under the hardtop or soft top.

Once your top is off it takes about 10 mins or so to put it on. About 3 mins to take it off. I also leave it on year round under my hardtop. Great quality. Has been on my JKU for 4 years now.

Spiderwebshade put up the products on their website for the JL. Remember you can always get a custom print as well. Ordered a custom one a week ago before they put it up so I'll upload pics once it comes in.. IMO it looks better than the JK ones

I ordered mine last week for my JLU in blue, hoping it matches good with the Ocean blue. their site said nothing about custom print. Maybe should call them to see what’s available, unless my order has already shipped.

Yeah they didn't say anything on the Facebook group that I'm in but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask... It's a little extra but wasn't too much

Does anyone have any concerns about the new design rubbing/scuffing the paint on the now unpadded roll bars? I had one on my JK for 2.5yrs and it left marks on my padding just from blowing and slight movement while installed.

No padding like the JK, no worries.

If you keep it on, how do you clip the freedom panels back in? or latch the soft top? I've never seen one in person so maybe I'm missing something.

You really do not have access to most of the freedom panel latches (from my experience on my JK) without removing the front portion of the spade and folding it back to the rollbar. If you are running dual tops, it is simple enough when using the soft top just to unhook the bungees at the front windshield. This allows you to keep the shade installed WHEN USING THE SOFT TOP.. When I swap to my hard top, I always remove the shade because of the interference/hassle when you want to take the freedom panels out.

I take off one or two of the "spiderballs" so i can move my hands around to latch the front down. And maybe do the side one as well when I put the panels back on. I then re-attach them.

Looks great, can’t wait now for my Ocean Sahara to try it on.
