SpiderWebShade headroom?

Hi all. Can anyone tell me if the headroom in the JL SpiderWebShade is better than the JK? I had to recline my seat quite a bit in the JK to keep my head under the shade and don't really want to do that again. The JL version looks like its more on top of the roll bar so I'm hoping this isn't an issue. Those that have them can you confirm?

I have 6-1/2" from the headrest(set all the way down) to the spiderwebshade with the seat all the way down, all the way back and in the fully upright position. I'm 6'4", but I have long legs so headroom is not usually an issue.
I'm not sure if those measurements will help you much, but it may give you an idea of how much headroom you will lose.

Just installed mine a few hours ago. Its flush to the hardtop on the jl.

So you have the exact same headroom as the hardtop?

It fits flush against the freedom tops on the inside and looks like a headliner with the tops on. There is a slight loss due to the thickness of the shade and it will probably sag a bit over time but freshly installed I lost close to zero headroom on the fresh install.
