What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

When I got my jku, my insurance company forced me to take 500 deductible minimum. Hopefully they don't have the same restriction when I get my jlu, I'd rather be down closer to 200

That was probably for collision. They shouldn’t force a comp deductible. It’s very cheap to get a low comp deductible.

Until I find a front bumper replacement...I like the bolts on the Rubicon bumper, makes it look a little more rugged. So for $8, I made my stock sport bumper a little more Rubicon(ish)

Neat idea. What type of bolts/screws did you use? How did you install so they won't fall out?

Thank you. Drilled a small hole to start, any black screw/bolt of your choice would work I suppose. I chose a simple self-tap black plastic screw, similar to license plate screws (tried to mimic the screws on the rubicon bumper and kind of match the ones on the inner side of my fender flares)

Not the greatest of photos it was pretty dark. Car seats both fit fine. Mine are passed those big rear facing ones but those were pretty tight in my old JK. I can definitely notice the extra room in the JL

I have that same brittax seat, glad to see how it fits!

I installed Mopar 7" Lights! I got tired of waiting on the Mopar mounts, so I used a pair of Rugged Ridge 2" X-Clamps on the Mopar grille/winch-guard bar (still waiting on that winch mount too). I am REALLY impressed with these lights. They are brighter and less expensive than the similar ARB model. To me, they seem to be about as bright as the stock LED high-beams at their aim-point, but the coverage is EVERYWHERE: up, down, left, right. I find them especially useful for illuminating critters in my peripheral vision on the rural "roads" around my house.

Thanks! I still have a long way to go, but until the aftermarket catches up I am happy with the outcome with very little changed.

I got mine dirty. Just some light wheeling around the family property but the first time I’ve had a chance to get off the pavement.

So far - the only exterior color i really like with the red Rubicon dash is this silver color. It just pairs so nicely, making the "pop" of color truly look like an attractive accent. I feel like every other exterior color - even red - makes the dash look like something a tuner-kid would do to his honda civic or something.

Pulled out the stock gas cap and installed a Stant locking one. So far it isnt throwing any codes . Ordered front and rear dash cams

Mike.. Would be great if you could post on the forum the specifics on the Stant you installed. Stant is an excellent choice!

Hey Guys,
I ordered off Amazon the Stant 10508 Locking Fuel Cap (not sure if I can post outside links here). The website says it doesn't fit but it twisted right in. Turn clockwise 3x to lock and turn the cap left with the key inserted to unlock. I'll take some pictures later tonight and update you guys on codes (or not ) after I drive around more!
