Oh I have he also got me a CDI (Certain Designated Individual) for employee pricing. Works out to what many have been able to get which is 5% below invoice but without any haggle or hassle. I also don't have to pay any additional fees that dealers add in when doing that 5% off or use their financing to get that deal.

Both my ignorance and good luck(?) may once again risk my getting flamed her, as my immediate question above.

The rep wouldn't give me a code (not that I even know these codes). He says, "policy changes find us not using these anymore."

I would get back onto Jeep chat with another agent....they still use the codes and give them out all the time. Once you have the code, it will be easier to tell what happens next.

Take an average of the responses from Jeep Chat, and you are somewhere in there. Mine went from D1 (ready to assemble) to JB in 2 days. Sometimes they sit, sometimes they fly through. No rhyme or reason, and all we do is speculate (and hate on Jeep Chat!!!). My wife would get annoyed, but I would be online with Jeep Chat sometimes 3 times a day and they never complained (to me).

Something folks might find interesting... for the vehicles currently being tracked in Jay's sheet, the following are the average days from order date to today sitting in current status:

AVERAGE DAYS FROM ORDER DATE IN CURRENT STATUS (RUBICONS):
D1 = 27 DAYS (11 JEEPS)
E = 32 DAYS (1 JEEP)
I = 62 DAYS (2 JEEPS)
JB = 64 DAYS (8 JEEPS)
JS = 60 DAYS (2 JEEPS)
KZ = 63 DAYS (21 JEEPS)

Sahara's average days from order date currently in D1 is 16 days. 11 Days shorter than Rubicons.

Since JB is the longest, it somehow validates orders get bogged down a bit in the JB status.

Note the sample size is low but those are the average days based on the data available.

I've been told by my dealer AND Jeep chat that I am KZR status - due to arrive at my dealer within a few days. Well, I went KZR a week ago. Still nothing.

Dealer contacted our local shipping yard to ping the location of my vehicle - and it is still sitting in Toledo. It never left. Despite Jeep chat not knowing its location, and the dealer's system not knowing its location.

I am beyond frustrated.

That's strange that you have not gotten any shipping updates. Have a look at my tracking as our destinations should have the same path. I've been getting daily to bi-daily updates on location since it was shipped on 2/24. ETA of arrival has been updated to 3/10 to 3/14.

So I knew my JLUS had left Toledo, but I talked to my dealer today (GM I dealt with, friend of a friend), and he said it’ll arrive in Montreal on Monday (like 2hours away from where I live), and should be in sometime next week !!! AMEN

Well I’ll still have to wait till March 16th to go get it as I can’t drive my Mustang until then (no winter tires, and they’re mandatory here in Quebec Dec 15th-March 15th), but that’ll give me an extra couple weeks to try and sell it for more than what the dealer is giving me for trade in value !

I know this may sound trivial to most here but I was just on Jeep Chat and was issued my VIN#. I know I still have many weeks to wait but this is the first good news I’ve received. I have called Jeep chat every day for the last 2 weeks and my order didn’t show up so I thought my dealer screwed something up. So now I’m in the dreaded D status...at least it’s finally moving.

RE: windshield cracked after 3 miles.
Actually it had 18 miles on it - picked it up and got on the interstate and BAM - big rock!- I looked down and it was at 21 miles.

It gets replaced on Thursday and I am out my deductible for 3 miles of driving.

Wranglers are rock magnets. My first JK had 3 windshields replaced - my Polar JKU had 2 chips repaired
