That would be splendid.Sorry to hear thatI live up in Canada where the soft top won't even be used for a few months yet! Why can't they just ship separately to the dealerships?

got a hold of the dealer (sales person)...they aren't showing an ETA on their system. they just show the KZ status. told him jeep chat gave me an ETA of 3/14-3/18...he said it's not showing that....but normally 2 weeks. ugh...i was hoping for a morsel of info.
@jlwf dealer guy.... any chance of a one time look up?![]()
Nope. Matching color hardtop only. Will order softop in the fall.Dual Tops?
I still haven't gotten mine yet - and my particular tracking has gone haywire. Thanks for your reply. How long was your train ride to CA? I am in Sourhern California
Wow! You may possibly have the record for least number of miles before cracking your windshield? Can anyone do better...urrrr, i mean worse?
I don't remember which thread I saw it in, but I've read about at least 2 or 3 people who had dual tops and they got their dealer to call FCA and worked it out so their jeep would be delivered WITHOUT the softtop and that the softtop would be delivered when it became available. Worth looking into or pressing your dealer with that info.I've been stuck in JB for 16 days now waiting on a soft top. Dealer said they will not release unless complete, and it's too late to cancel the dual top / change the invoice. Really disappointing to have a fully built car with a hard top, and get delayed by over a month as a result of them running out of stock on soft tops..
That just seems like a risky move to me....when the soft tops do become available again in a few weeks, it would be logical that the factory would start putting them on all the ones currently sitting there or that are in production, and that shipping them out as a stand alone order would be the lowest priority. I would not count on those getting sent out anytime soon.I don't remember which thread I saw it in, but I've read about at least 2 or 3 people who had dual tops and they got their dealer to call FCA and worked it out so their jeep would be delivered WITHOUT the softtop and that the softtop would be delivered when it became available.
