Any of you guys install a rubicon sway bar on your sport or Sahara? I’m getting one from another member here. Thinking of wiring it to an aux switch
PLEASE keep the thread posted with what you find. We put brand new Rubi D44s on and wired them to the AUX switches and I wondered about the Rubi sway bar as well. Would you mind telling what you paid for the sway bar and why the heck would someone be getting rid of one?

Honestly be easier to mod it to a EVO no limits manual disconnect than to wire it in. The sway bar motors are a bit more complex than simple power on power off to activate, so the aux switch won’t work so well

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having the RUBICON SWAYBAR in my SAHARA, since it uses the same shocks as the RUBICON-

It rides pretty rough offroad, but that's what I expected !

??? You mean you put the Rubi shocks on your Sahara right? The Sahara and Rubi shocks are not at all the same.

600. They were going to a Currie Anti Rock solution. Honestly it was almost same price. I’m also getting the wiring plug too.

honestly, it should be a simple on off from what I see. The other wires are for the sway bar light etc. and other instrument cluster junk. I just have to be sure I turn it on and off below a certain mph..

but that EVO option sounds good to.

Heh Heh, yes they are--they're both NITROGEN CHARGED--and I haven't changed mine
they're just BLACK and not RED !
There may be a PRESSURE difference, but both react the same to COMPRESS/DECOMPRESS--

Has anyone ran in to this issue with their 2018 JLU Sport, i have abouk 20 k miles on it? When making a hard right hand turn i am getting a clunking sound, almost as if something is rubbing or grinding out of the drivers side rear.

I took it in for a the steering damper recall and mentioned the noise, they had to order the part, no biggie, and said they would look at the other item when i brought it back for the recall. So the dealer had it for 3 days, they completed the recall and began looking at the noise. At first they thought it was a bump stop, but that was ruled out. Now they asked for me to bring it back next week so they can look at more and stated they would provide me a rental The service rep stated they opened some type of case with Chrysler and the mechanics are intrigued . So am i, this is something that just started happening.

I picked up a JLUS in July. Only options on it were a hard top, limited slip differential and the rubber floor mats. Modifications since I bought it have been a trailer hitch, the Mopar trailer wiring kit, Rubicon suspension and 32" (LT255/75/17) Falken Wildpeak MT101 tires. When a couple of parts arrive I'll be installing a 5" radio with Sirius XM. Something to listed to in the middle of the Nevada desert.

I had some 2019 Rubicon wheels/tires but decided not to use them. I haul a small travel trailer on a regular basis and didn't want to effect the overall gear ratio too much. I figured the 32" tires wouldn't do that. I didn't even have to reprogram the tire size.

I like my Jeep. For what I do out here it is about perfect. I would have liked a Rubicon but just couldn't justify the cost of admission for my type of use.

Hi George999, I am so sorry to hear about your concerns! If you'd like us to open a case with a case manager so they can assist you with the dealer during this process, feel free to send us a private message.

That's a great looking Jeep!

A couple of updated pics. These show the 32" Falken tires. Forgot to mention I also installed Sahara side steps. These are not rock rails. Since I don't crawl over rocks that's ok. What they do is protect the sides of the Jeep from damage. If you've driven over gravel or dirt roads for 100 miles you know what I'm talking about. My JKU had seriously sand and gravel blasted rear door hinges. They also make it easier to wash the top of the Jeep..

It goes in the shop tomorrow, I personally think it is a bad hub/bearing. I jacked up the left side and noticed that I could pull the wheel out and push it back in. So i grabbed the tire at 9 and 3 o'clock and could rock the tire back and forth. Now i am not a mechanic, but i don't think i should be able to that. So i checked the passenger side and was able to do the same thing but no where near as much. Then i checked the front and neither wheel would budge.
