I swapped on some Rubicon wheels and tires and now I have a service tire pressure system message and there's no read out. Does the dealer have to flash these or something? I figured they would just work after a few miles.

Your Jeep should recognize the sensors almost immediately, or a few miles at most. Are you sure they have sensors?

Did you buy the Rubicon set from Trail Jeeps? If so, I remember the listing said the sensors were not included

These are different ones. They were supposed to have the sensors but it's acting as if they don't.

Hi 1quick1,

You've got some great advice from NN39. Usually when this light appears, it's an indication that the tire pressure is lower than the recommended value and/or that slow pressure loss is occurring. In these cases, optimal tire duration and fuel consumption may not be guaranteed. Are you thinking you'd like to make your Jeep dealer aware? Let us know if we can be of assistance with this or if you have any other questions.

Do these sensors know when you have gotten a tire rotation? Do you need to tell the computer where the new tire is after the rotation or will it know?

Thanks for the replies.

I just ran over to the tire shop and they were able to scan the tires to see if the sensors were there and it doesn't look like they are. So I'm going to load up my stock Sport wheels and he said they can swap them into the new wheels and tires.

Just do your rotation. You need to do nothing. Yes, "It will know"

I loaded the sport wheels and tires back up last night and took it to the tire shop. They were able to take the sensors out of the Sport wheels and put them in the new Rubicon wheels. It took about 2 miles of driving but they are reading perfectly again.
