You likely won't hit the D1 side of the tracking sheet until your build starts.
No builds today on the 2 door side.
I might wait till Friday to chat

I’ve now gotten 3 different ETA’s

2-25-3/2
3/1-3/7
3/7-3/11

Who knows what to believe. My dealer says once it’s shipped out from Toledo to NY is only 10 days delivery max. If that’s correct the 2/25 eta should be right. I hope it is.

It is my understanding no. There is what’s known as a truck zone. Anything that can be delivered by truck within a reasonable distance does not go on a train. Any dealerships in Ohio and Michigan to name two states are never sent train. I would assume it’s a range that represents a driver being able to go to the dealership or several dealerships and make it back in one day.
Jeeps bound for NC (maybe western VA, southern W VA, northern SC, too) go by train from Toledo to Winston-Salem. This link shows all the Norfolk-Southern automobile distribution yards:
http://www.nscorp.com/content/nscor...tomotive/vehicle-distribution-facilities.html
They then get trucked to the dealership, adding a day or two depending on loads to certain areas. A buyer in Atlanta will get pretty quick service as NS has a yard in Atlanta.
For me in Wilmington, NC I’m looking at probably two-three days after my JLU hits Winston-Salem. It’s a 4+ hour drive from WS to ILM (by car.) Besides my dealer, there’s a dealer one hour north and 40 minutes south. So they probably try to load up as much as they can for one to two deliveries, then back to the yard. Good thing, most of NS’s yards operate 24/7, and most likely the trucking companies do to.

Updated. Congrats to @Brittany, @azfun, @Mfdidier, Fuggedaboudit, @basamx on your new Jeeps being delivered!!! :jk::flag:
Whoohoo, can't get it for a week but it is worth the wait. We will be picking up our JLUR with bags packed for a 2200 mile road trip on the way back to Arizona. Planned stops are Nevada, Colorado, Utah and maybe Wyoming if time permits. Will have pics and review of all the on /off road adventure.

Out of my last three Jeep chats, all three suggested that mid-March would be the expected start date for my build. Ordered Feb 15. I'm beginning to think there's a a known shortage of parts with an expected arrival date around then... I'm probably going to cry.

What did you order, if you don’t mind my asking?

1 month to enter build seems reasonable and is in line with my order experience. Ordered 12/26 and built ~1/25-26
