What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I was from southern Maine. I was living in Gorham which is about 10 minutes out side of Portland. I enlisted in 98 and on visited a dozen times since. But definitely miss the weather and skiing

The new Redrock bumper from Extreme Terrain came today via UPS freight. Only weighs 70lbs which is light compared to others on the market. I modified the stock Sahara fog lights to fit. What did you need to do to the fog lights?

The bumper comes with generic fog lights but they're not plug and play. I drilled a hole in the bottom corners of the stock fog lights then ziptied them to the mounting holes on the bottom. There weren't any mounting holes on the top so I just used duct tape. I was in a hurry to get it done. Whenever the duct tape gives out, I'll take the bumper off and drill a hole in the top of the buckets and drill a hole in the top of the fog light brackets and then ziptie them.

I got sick of the phone charger cord. Picked up a bamboo drawer tray and a bike phone mount. I made a few cuts in the bamboo tray sprayed it with some leftover plastidip and now I have a charging pad attached to my e-brake handle. Probably should have rounded out the edges a bit, but might do that later. Works great!

I built a split rear cargo deck for added security in my soft top. It's designed to cover everything if the rear seat is deleted, or have the rear deck cover remain when the rear seat is installed. Though not visible, I've since added D-ring tie downs on the top and bottom of the front deck as well.

This is for my 2dr, but I built one for my old '18 JLU. If anyone wants the JLU cover I'd love to sell it near cost.

That looks fantastic. Do you know how hard it is to install? Sounds like you had someone else do it for you, but wondering if it's a DIY project if one has the time?

Got caught in a thunderstorm for 20 minutes with no roof, just a sunshade, which doesn’t stop water coming into the jeep. No trying to dry it out, hoping for a hot day tomorrow.

No pictures of the storm, but my Quadratec Weathertech mats sure got wet! 20 minutes after the rain ended.
