I like that early nostalgia stuff too. I run this 1950 brass badge on the dash of mine. This is an original brass badge, not the key chain repo now. History of this badge is that in 1950 mid year Willys introduced some big changes. flat nose grill on trucks and wagons changed to v nose, was one of them. These badges where only on those early mid year V nose Willys from mid ’50 to end of year 1950. Very rare indeed.1941 Door sill guards installed
If you watch the aux install by cjpony on YouTube, the only confusing parts has to do with rewiring the harness. The kit includes this stupid new harness for one new orange wire to connect with an existing orange wire, anyways you can just connect those two wires directly without the new harness. My wires were not making a connection, so my ess was not working. I didn't care at that point since my aux wasn't active anyways. All in all the aux switch install was pretty easy, hardest part I would say is to fish the cables through the firewall. I did some tricks I used to do when I was doing cabling. Stripped a coax cable so a lot of copper is showing, then poke it through. No help needed, well I could have used help, but not necessary.Fixed that pesky orange pin which got rid of the start/stop light. Please explain, sorry, caveman here.....
My first "mod" was adding all weather floor mats and now I'm turning wrenches and looking at suspensions lol. What color is your Jeep? I like it.It's small, but it's officially my first "mod". Yup! Thanks man! I am not on any lift. Mine is just a Sport with the 44 rear axle. I upgraded the screen from 5.3” to the 7” and I think that’s why people get confused lol the wheels stick out just a tad which I like:
