I was in HI when my mom passed. Dad called and asked if I was coming home for the funeral and like a chickenshit, I said no cuz I couldn't handle it. Something I still regret.

I figured, at the very least, I'll just figger out the speedo delta between the stock 33s and the new 37s and just compute that shit on the fly in my head.

As follow-up, the delta is a percentage it turns out. (Woo nerds! ) Take new diameter over the old one, and that's how much faster you're going than the speedometer.

Example - from 32s -> 37s, 37/33 = 1.16. So you would take your speedometer reading and multiply it by 1.16. 50mph becomes ~58mph for instance.

Pretty much pain all the time, less when not trying to walk. Very rarely now can I walk without a limp cuz of the pain. Doc says maybe they'll do an x-ray. We shall see. I'm sure he's gonna poke and prod and really make it hurt. I can't wait.

That was painful to read. My aunt was a very similar story. She was facing a long and painful recovery that sent her into a deep depression. She shot herself when my Uncle had gone out to get dinner.
