Good morning Jeep peeps. Happy Friday. Here my 2 cents on that nostalgia thread. I do feel where op is coming from. The first thing I said when I test drive a jlur was this isn’t a wrangler it’s now just a Jeep. Yes I still bought mine bc I can still drive top less door less it still have the wrangler feel to it and also this is the way the industry is heading. You can’t have 1990 technology in 2020. Do I miss the old rough wrangler feeling yes but am I happy with my JLUR absolutely.

Well done!
Couldn't help but laugh at myself the whole time... I was running out of things to put by the last frame.

Thought maybe some of you might be interested in this. Last night I was perusing my old HS's facebook page when I tripped over this old Sports Illustrated article about a guy that grew up and played football in the town in Connecticut where I also grew up and went to school.

Written by Frank Deford. It's heart wrenching and worth the read.
That was painful to read. My aunt was a very similar story. She was facing a long and painful recovery that sent her into a deep depression. She shot herself when my Uncle had gone out to get dinner.

I was at Boot Camp at the time. When the Drill Instructors put you first in line for your training and then take you straight to the Chaplain, you automatically know its bad news.

I was in HI when my mom passed. Dad called and asked if I was coming home for the funeral and like a chickenshit, I said no cuz I couldn't handle it. Something I still regret.

Edit: sorry, this is supposed to be the humor room.
