Just measured from the Jeep top to the lowest point in my garage. 9" should be enough for whatever lift/tires I put on Ofsteve.

At some point, apparently, I have to prove to Costco Tire that this is a valid tire size for the wrangler.

That might be a tough considering the 2018 wrangler is warranted up to 35"

But they did just come out with the calibration tool for 37's so I don't know if they approve of that size yet

It affects the tire warranty, not the vehicle.

Where did you read the JL is only warranted up to 35". There seems to be a lot of debate about it on these forums.
