Well, at least you have some answersOK, I've got an update from my dealer today - after Jeep refused to update me due to be "dealership stock order" - on the 21 days long "I" status of my ordered JLUR.
"Factory rep xxxxx said there was a paint issue that needed to be resolved. To best of his knowledge it is ready to move forward".
The order was for a black JLUR with black hardtop (not body color), no painted fenders. I wonder how long till the car really moves forward in the status updates...

They've made thousands and thousands of JLURs in 21 days, why does it take this long to fix a paint issue?
I really hope the car will be flawless, because I will not accept it if it is not.

So yesterday after picking up my deposit from the dealer I had initially placed my order with (but who didn’t actually place it since DSA was missing), I drove to another one where a friend’s friend is the GM.
Got invoice pricing, bettwr deal on my trade in, and he didn’t screw me like the others tried to by estimating my payout for when the car would be delivered.
So overall better deal, honest guy, and order actually placed. Now waiting for my VIN (which he agreed should arrive 1-2 days atter placing the order at most).
Now the whole « waiting/jeep chat/expecting to make it to Jay’s list » game has begun ! (Again lol)
And thanks to people reporting that adding the weather mats to the order deleted the carpet mats, I deleted it from my order and will buy em on the side

HAHAH, I just talked to Maurice. And he gave me some good news....I have a new best friend at Jeep Chat. Maurice just said I've moved to KZ status and it should be moving out soon. Get that guy talking and he will give you all kinds of information. No ETA yet but he said to check back tomorrow and he'll have it for me. Maybe mine will end up on the same Houston-bound train as @TTEChris Jeep.

Your vehicles parts have arrived, and we have sequenced the vehicle for production line work. The vehicle has not progressed to the next stage just yet. However, we estimate to ship 2/13/18. So it looks like the actual build work should start very soon.
Of course I take this info with a grain of salt..... But its nice to get another piece of info.
