There is something about this firecracker red on this Rubi that looks great. I am not a red vehicle kind of person at all either, so I am very hesitant to pull the trigger on this color. The only red vehicle I ever loved is a (930/964) 911 in Guards Red. BUT this is looking good here.

x2. I normally hate red vehicles, but seeing the twin to that Rubi on the showroom floor at the dealer, I would have signed the papers had they let me. I'm waiting for Punkn or Mojito pics first, plus I'm afraid I'll dislike the red once I get it home and the new wears off. It's tempting though.

I agree with Rubi-Zero and the others above: there is just something about the Rubicon JL in Firecracker red. My original color picks were Billet Silver and Granite Crystal, but seeing pictures and videos of the Rubicon in red convinced me. It reminds me of a bumper sticker that I saw on a purple Wrangler with the roof removed last summer: "Life's too short to drive a boring car!". I placed my order the last week of December and it arrived on Friday - just over 1 month - pretty good timing!. So far, my family and I are loving it!

Seems like a pretty overwhelmingly high take rate on the steel bumpers. I think it’s a great value for the money to be honest. And they definitely have the best look compared to 99% of aftermarket bumpers.

We are very conservative and usually have white and/or gray/blue cars. However, the Jeep is a special exception, so we were always going with the boldest color available. We saw both the red & yellow at the LA car show, and were sort of split. The deciding factor was my wife's mom - before she got married and had kids - had a red CJ back in the 60s. First you rebel, then you become your parents. LOL

Hey, can anyone with the black interior post up some shots? Maybe with the top down? Along with the premium soft top, we're getting the floor mats and black leather trimmed seats.

Ours, too! Now if they'd just put it on a truck and drive it the 20 miles from the rail yard to the dealer, I could take my picture standing beside mine!
