What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Finished machining and assembled my new stubby bumper. Made of 6061 aluminum plate, 3/4" thick winch plate, 5/8" thick front plate, 1/2" thick support plates. Has stainless hardware and weighs in at approximately 50# What do you think, leave natural, or powder coat black leaving the stainless fasteners natural? TIA!

The light bar is a cheepy eBay special. It’s 20” and I wish I would have ordered a 24”

I wanted it to go on the lower bar which have holes at 17” apart. The light actually measured 19” and with the brackets the way it’s built I could not make it fit, so it went onto the top.

Not the greatest quality, but it actually works well and was a snap to install and wire.thank you Jeep for providing a spare hole in the firewall! Eventually I’ll replace it with a 24”
Next year we dump front plates in Ohio so that will be the time to make the switch.

Well this is installed twice I put them on the wife didn’t like them took them off and then a week later I Jedi mind tricked her into trying them again

Added some cross bars for a roof basket for the upcoming trip to Acadia National Park, the basket will only be on for trips as it will not fit in the garage installed.

Replaced my Rubi rails with Rugged Ridge XHD rails but I’m not happy with them. On side just doesn’t fit. I’ve adjusted as much as I can but no luck. The mounts are just off and the hardware is chintzy. Not recommended.

Anyone have tips on returning 150lbs to Quadratec?

After mowing the lawn this morning, I spent the afternoon washing and detailing the Jeep. Then took her for a drive and some ice cream.

That's a BUNCH of work for the little details, BUT IT LOOKS GOOD! Good job!

Rear Cargo light is really anemic, even in the 2019 with updated interior lights.

The Brawlee on the rear glass is nice but only solves lighting issues when you have the hard top on the Jeep.

Tried my hand at an alternative today using a Ridgid Scene light.
