Ask your dealer to send you the POC. It will have a ship date on it that most likely will end up being your build date.
I think something about their status info has changed lately. Been in D1 about 2 weeks now, and neither chat nor dealer have any kind of ETA to share.

Same here. Since my initial movement into D1, I haven't been given an ETA but once... and that guy was wrong. So I am still holding onto hope that 2/5 is my build date and hasn't changed.

I had my initial D status from Mike, but I chatted with Alexander, and he wondered when was the last time I checked, because my ship date is February 14th. So, I think things are moving and we are unaware.

I called and I am in D1 status which means all parts are in place to assemble. The Jeep fairy said I could be in this status for 30 days. Nooooooo! I am just not a patient person.

LOL better find some patience...I've been in D1 since January 22nd. I'm on day 24 since I ordered (not as long as some). The frustrating part is some have taken delivery in 29 days. Patience is a virtue.....one I'm working on LOL! :headbang::computerrage:

Of course I sit in I for about 6 days - then go to freakin' JS and not KZ.

Agh.

Dylan in chat stated: If being shipped via railcar, vehicles may be held until there are enough units to fill the shipping requirements".

Aren't there a bunch of KZ'd California fellas?
My jeep actually went out for shipping a few days ago, I thought I had to wait for your Jeep and others, but maybe there were enough west coast ones to send a train off. My ETA is 2/13-2/17.

So I have now moved backwards from KZ-L to I then to G as of today. WTF? Chat says something must have happened to make it go back to framing. Did they wreck my Jeep? Was there someone here who was able to look at I status jeeps?

@VJ Smedlo looks like it's everyone else's turn to now go and finger your Jeep in the Koons parking lot! ;):champagne::jk::champagne:
Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
Mine is still in "rail interconnect carrier" status in Gibson, IN since 1/16 and no one seems to know much. Should I not be alarmed by now? I watch people on the list go in a and out of Gibson in 1-2 days max. I called Jeep and they said not to worry since still within ETA (but they changed ETA twice already). Any words to alleviate (or increase) my anxiety? Thanks so much,
Sam

What everyone is seeing in this Gibson Indiana and Kansas City delay is normal. These are massive Rail Yards that are located in odd places that can reach vast cities that are all pretty equal distance from them. What is going on is they are shuffling cars around to send to their destinations. Some may have gotten lucky and had the car they were on easily accessible, some, maybe it was in the middle of the train.

OK, that makes sense. I wished someone told me that earlier rather than tell me nothing is the matter and to chill. Thank you for your response and explanation.

On a different note, I picked a JL Ruby from Roger Williams Jeep west of Ft Worth (they have many) and canceled this one. On my way home, all sorts of warning lights came on, incl, check engine light, transmission light, stability control light and a message saying to drive immediately to the dealer and to NOT turn it off as it may be impossible to get it out of P then. I did just that Thursday (2 hrs after I pecked it up), and it's still in the shop, they said they couldn't get to it till Monday; I wonder if because I bought elsewhere. MAD!! The plan is to take delivery of the one I ordered (I uncancelled) as it has cold weather package and this doesn't, has dual top and I plan on using the soft one only and this one is a hardtop only -and I need cold weather pckg as I drive top off in winter; and trade the one I got in then. It's almost unbelievable. That said, for the hour or so I drove that Jeep, OMG, everything is levels above the JK, from the driving, handling, transmission down to the turn signal indicator movement. Air whistling through the hard top where it sits on the windshield is still an unchanged feature, though :)

I am chugging along in status "I" since Jan 16th, for 19 days now... emailed my dealer asking for an escalated inquiry about this, he said he can check it on Tuesday...so by then itll be over 3 weeks in status "I".

Tomorrow, I'll try Jeep chat again too, maybe they've really filed my complaint from Friday about this and have some answer for me...

Bound to be a few bad ones out there.. That said, I have a very long way to drive home when I pick mine up from Koons so. Im pretty sure I will be ok though!
