Well, although dealer left me a VM and told me mine shipped today, when I called back they said I was still in I. Huh?....

My JLU Sahara won't be ready until tomorrow. Dealer said they had to clean it, inspect it and hook it up to the computer (said the computer part would take 3 hours). Does anyone know why they had to hook it up to the computer? I think he said something about transport mode. Also, I ordered the Mopar all-weather floor mats and it was delivered with 2 passenger side mats and no drivers side, told him I would drive it until the other came in.

When I was at the dealer drooling on a Wrangler (absent mine) the salesman said the vehicles ship in a different mode. I'm not sure about 3 hours but it does take time to put it in normal use mode.

Lmao. To take a JL out of ship mode. Hit hazard button, scroll through the center screen by holding down the up arrow. Takes approximately 5 seconds. Rinse repeat.

The JK’s are different. There is 1 fuse not fully plugged into the fuse box. It’s a big one surrounded with a white clip. Plug in, all work. Maybe they needed 3 hours to prep that JL and make sure they filled the tires with lifetime nitrogen for the $495 on the addendum.

California seems hosed. As if they are making all orders between Oct-Jan as one shipment sometimes in February.

There have been California deliveries already.

But it does seem like quite a few of us CA fellas are hitting the build stage right now.

It looks like a big CA train is going to leave soon. At least let's hope!

So it appears my JLUR is traveling north rather than southward to Houston since the last update. Previous location was Gibson, IN. Current location in the spreadsheet is Fort Madison, IA. Given Tyler's hijacking, this makes me uneasy. Any red flags you see in the tracking data?

Nah, you look good. The rail patterns are way different than the highway system. I’m not worried a bit as long as the listed dealer is your place.
