Correction to my earlier post:

We went to install a budget boost on another JL today and the rear springs are smaller than mine, therefore JK rear spacers upper or lower will not work on all JL's.

I know of 4 others that have installed them with no issues, but it seems JEEP made a running change or just used up what JK stock was available.

Therefore we have to state JK rear spacers upper or lower may not work so no one will buy them in error.

Measure you springs JK uses a 5 5/8 diameter spacer and some later JL's use 4 1/2inch.

This is a bummer.

the last 4 of my VIN is 0028 which shows it was the 28th produced.

JK front spacers will work on ALL JL's as the same upper spring perch is used on both JK and JL.

That is the same wheel / tier combo I have on my JK. I was not smart enough to haggle price with discount tier but they did beat every other price I got quoted.

Looks good. Keep posting photos:like:

Check for rebates, Goodyear has a $50 with the purchase of 4 tires, DTD has 2 $50 rebates on 4 tires and 4 wheels that you should qualify for

Safe to assume you are referring to the JL Sport or Sport S?

I went with American Outlaw wheels -10 offset so the wheels do not sit too far out. 35x12.5 Duratracs.
If you want more offset go with -15 that will put the wheel/tire combo 5mm more out away from the axle.
Discout tire direct (Clint) gave me a screaming deal on the set and also $200 in rebates and $50 forum discount. Wheels/tires should be here Monday.
I am on a hunting trip until Sunday, pics will come.

BTW- I purchased from a dealer that is usually way high on price. Theycame off MSRP quite a bit and gave me $3000 more for my trade than I paid for it back in August. NONE of the Hendricks Dealer wanted to sell a JL, they were MSRP or go away, and that was to me a customer that had purchased 4 Corvettes over the last 4 years.
Excellent setup, wheel backspacing pulls the tire in the ideal offset location slightly beyond the fenders.

Does Discount Tire have a handle on the new configurations of the slightly larger, 14 mm, studs and larger lug nut diameters? Some wheel designs won’t have a large enough counter bore to fit the larger lug nuts.

How does it feel and handle compared to OEM configs? Did you feel any loss of acceleration?

99.9% of all wheels can accommodate 14mm lugs, it did take DTD a few tries to get the exact lug nut style I wanted but their customer service is the best in the business.

It actually feels very good, not much of a change. The acceleration loss is very, very minimal, the 8 speed is awesome. It feels much, much better than my 2017 Rubicon with 4:10 gears and the same wheel/tire setup.
The transmission self adapted the shift points and applied pressures within 100 miles, no complaints except the speedo is off 4MPH at 60.

I can't imagine any wheels not fitting on the new studs. It's a very negligible change.
