looks awesome. Quick question. In person does that soft top rear quarter window look like it doesn't line up with the rear door windows? They seem to look a little off in the pics I've seen, but maybe that's an optical illusion?

It is a little lower than the door windows, but It is so dark against the black top, it is really not noticeable at all unless you are looking for it. I'll try to post a pic showing the actual difference tomorrow. I wonder if it would be more noticeable with the tan top?

I was kinda thinking the same thing about the tan top. The misalignment of that soft top window really isn't that big a deal--and seems less noticeable on the 2 door for some reason. Just seems like such a bizarre oversight on jeep's part, given how meticulous the seemed to have been on other details of the JL.

That red, though, bro...that red is f'n sweet. I'm just too much of a boring old dad for a red vehicle these days. Haha.

Not East Hills...but I also ordered a fully loaded white JLUS last week from Wantagh Jeep. Ordered on MLK Day and as of day in D1 status, although not too confident that means much right now...How was your experience with East Hills?

I wonder if they intentionally sacrificed “looks” for the sake of visibility. They seemed to hype the increased visibility with the JL.

I live in the area but went to Bayside bc of a friend of a friend who's the finance guy there. Ordered last Friday but found out the next day they're prohibiting orders w hardtop on sport. They have *almost* the same one coming in soon so I'm grabbing that one.

Jeep support took my VIN and looked up status and said my Rubicon was in paint and to be completed midweek but then could be in inspection as long as a week and then shipping. No idea how long shipping from Detroit to Seattle could take I guess it varies, Feels like the end game though!

I'm also in JB status as of this morning's chat. Said they are adding additional equipment. what do they mean?

Placed order for JLU Sahara on 1/11 and still no VIN. Jeep chat and apparently they don't see it in the system:

"I have searched that VON to find no current status for the order through my system. I do not have a build order status I can provide to you for the building process that has been assigned to the vehicle."

How long did it take those who ordered in January to get a VIN and hit early stages? Should I be worried it's been 12 days and still not in the system?

I also ordered on January 11th, I have a VON, VIN, and I'm currently in D1 status. Maybe you should check with your dealer. Ask them for an update, and a new build sheet. The build sheet will have your date and time of the order placement, VON, VIN (if assigned yet) and current status (along with what you ordered).
