Installed my LoD Destroyer Sliders.

Looks great! I unpacked mine yesterday just to make sure they were Ok and had all the hardware, but I didn't have a chance to install them yet. How did your install go? Any tips or points of wisdom? Seems like an easy bolt on install with a couple of optional holes to drill.

Neither one of those are low profile enough for my use. All are nice racks but each has its niche. At 1.5” total added height it’s hard to compare anything on the market with this rack regarding profile and clearance. That was my main focus when hunting but I get others have a different focus. As far as cost everything for a JL early days is overly expensive.
Did you notice any GPS or SiriusXM reception loss with this rack? Seems it has a big metal bar mounted on top of the GPS/XM antenna. With maximum-3 they recommend relocate these antennas (right above the sound bar).

I just installed the rack yesterday and my wife has my jeep today because I had to drop her car off for service. However I text her to ask if seriusXM was working and she says it's been working all day. So I don't believe there are any issues.

Can this tire carrier swing independently from the end gate by removing one bolt (or pin)?
In theory, yes, it could, but I doubt that was an intended mode of operation in the original design. There is a turn buckle that attaches the tire carrier to the gate. if you removed the bolt from the gate side (the tire carrier side isn't accessible with the spare on), the carrier would swing away from the gate. The only caveat is that the license plate bracket has the third brake light, license plate light and the back up camera, so you would also have to disconnect the wiring. The kit comes with a nice connector for the lights, so that is an easy disconnect. The camera is a little more tricky, but not bad, you would just have to disconnect the harness from the back of the camera.

2019 JLU Rubicon (Ordered 10/24)
This has been extensively discussed here. Well, basically it was an incompetent design by FCA. Rubicon suspension is about 1.5 inches higher than Sahara and Sport, but all three use the same length LCA. Therefore Rubicon has a lower positive caster (typically 4~4.5) while Sahara and Sport have 5~5.5. The low caster affected Rubicon's ability to track straight, return to center, and make other steering components more vulnerable. It gets even worse when installing Mopar lift as they give almost 3", and some forum members reported their casters after lift was in the lower 3.

For stock Rubicon, one cheap fix is to use Mopar 2" lift's LCA since they are slightly longer. It is perfect since too much caster can also cause steering issues. Mopar 2" lift LCAs are about $60 for a pair. This is much cheaper than even a caster bolt or correction bracket. Best of all, the old and new LCA look the same so warranty is preserved with even the pickiest dealer.

For lifted Rubicon, an adjustable LCA (Teraflex, etc.) should be used to correct caster.
Wouldn't this design flaw be known by the aftermarket suspension manufacturers and be accounted for in their JLUR specific kits with either correct length LCAs or proper geometry correction brackets?

Well, the top end lift kits usually come with either longer or adjustable LCAs. The cheaper ones.....well, they are betting you will either not notice the low caster or you will buy your own adjustable LCAs.

What light bar do you have on your front bumper?
No light bar. I installed the Warn Low Bull Bar/Brush Guard and mounted two KC LZR 300 4" Round LED lights
