What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

What surfaces did you get covered? Do you mind sharing the cost?

I did mine with the same coating and tinted the orange side markers. For the full front, hood, windshield frame and both fenders it was $1,800.

I got impatient and decided to install the Smittybilt side armor despite there being over a foot of snow on the ground.

The jeep doesn't fit in a garage so I laid a comforter over the snow/under the jeep and got to it.

I completed the driver side. Frostbite started to set in so I'll complete the passenger side tomorrow.

Attempting to install a Rigid 10" light to my Rubi steel bumper but the brackets don't line up to the holes on the bumper. Do I need different brackets? I don't think it's close enough to be able to bend the brackets to make them work. I couldn't find an install video anywhere so any help is appreciated.

I wanted to do the whole hood, but the installer said that he'll have to remove the Rubicon decal as it won't bond properly with the PPF and it will make the logo glossy underneith. I obviously didn't wanna do that and ended up doing just the front part of the hood right up to the beginning of the R decal across the hood. Looks good and can't really see it being there. Paid $200

Received a set of storage bags, installed one bag, and put a bunch of stuff in it and the storage compartment.

I'm going to try it out to see if it's going to be a nuisance. I suspect I can adjust my mirror so I don't have a blind spot, but we'll see. If it's a problem I may just use the passenger side bag for weekend camping trips. Thankfully, the driver side bag easily fit my 30 foot tow strap, air compressor, D rings, jumper cables, and other assorted items.

I'll have to see how it looks from the outside during the day. With the tint it's pretty hard to see. But meth heads gonna meth head, so...
