Installed some lighting Sunday.

On the cowl, I used ACE Engineering spacers (same day in person delivery, its nice to be close to the company) and a set of Rigid D-series Midnight Edition Spot lights.

In front of the grill I added the Warn "low" hoop winch guard. On that I mounted 2 light brackets from Lampus. I cut a 1" x 6" piece of "anti slip tool box drawer liner" material from Harbor Freight and placed it between the Lampus mounts and the Warn tube to provide "anti-rotate" protection.

On the mounts I put a set of Rigid D-series flood lights.

Spots are attached to "Aux 3" and Floods to "Aux 4". I have not aimed the lights yet, had other things to do after dark yesterday, and for the next couple days working on metal in -30 degree wind chill weather does not really sound like fun. Will aim them soon, can't wait to see what the "uptick in light" is. I can tell you, I don't even want to catch the lights in the corner of my eye, these suckers are bright.

My goal is to hopefully angle out the "floods" a bit, and angle in the "Spots" a bit. We'll see. There is a school near me with a long driveway and a nice brick wall I can use for aiming I think. Kept the floods off the cowl, to prevent glare off of hood, a tip I saw online here someplace.

Got new tires and wheels installed: 37" KM3s with Mopar Slotted Off-Road wheels. I love both the tires and wheels, but the wheels are definitely a lot more shiny than they appeared in their photos. So, they're gonna come off this week and get powdercoated in black. I'll create a stencil of the Willys logo and paint that back on, too.

Looks great, can you post more pictures of those wheels before you paint.

I just finished upgrading my 2018 Wrangler dome light to the 2019 dome light. Now all 5 lights come on when the door is open, instead of just the middle one. Much better. Installation took 15 minutes and I could do it in half that time if I had to do it again. Below are two pictures showing the lighting before and after the upgrade. If you want to see how much brighter it would be in your 2018 Wrangler, just open the door, click on the 4 small lights and it will be the exact same amount of light.

I removed the entire sound bar front panel, by removing the 3 x T-25 screws from the front of it, accessing the screws sitting in the front drivers seat. After removing those screws, the rest of the panel is held up by clamps that snap out. I pried the panel out from the end and popped it off. The dome light came out with the panel as it’s clips actually help hold up the panel, i.e. they clip through the panel instead of clipping to the panel.

Bought the dome light from here, showed up in a week. https://www.moparoneonline.com/oem-parts/mopar-lamp-dome-6cd43tx7ag

Was gonna order but a lot of sites are saying this part has been discontinued. Any ideas?
