Invoice Vehicle Pricing (2 door / 4 door), not including destination:
  • Sport - $26,590 / $29,956
  • Sport S - $29,438 / $32,804
  • Sahara - N/A / $35,647
  • Rubicon - $35,250 / $38,546
  • Destination Charge - $1195
Then start adding options:
Tow $708
Premium black top $530
Engine heater $85
Premium wheels $797
Total: $2120

Did you order the 4 door?

JLU Sport S w/options $34,924 invoice less destination.

$32,000/$34,924 = 0.92 = 8% below invoice.

If this is correct, you got a great deal excluding your shipping situation.

You'd have to pay destination to any dealer $1,195. HI dest is $1,245 when I put in Oahu zip 96701.
Yes, correct, oh, it’s a 2 door, but I forgot the anti spin rear diff at 530. Only paying 1195 for shipping. So yes I thought it was a good deal as well, thanks for the confirmation and the chat. .

Got it. Changing numbers to 2 door plus LSD you are right at invoice at 32,088. Still not a bad deal.

You couldn't find any HI dealers that would sell at invoice?

Honolulu dealers....? Heck no.
Here’s a quote from Hawaii... and I quote, “ MSRP plus $4,995. It we can probably get that down to $2,000.”
Hahahah! That is a direct quote from text.

Follow up to below invoice pricing. Respectfully here are my calculations:
Invoice pricing according to link:
2 door, manual trans.
Sport S. 29438
Package 23s. 2848
Block heat. 85
Lim slip rear end. 530
Tow pack. 708
Polished wheels. 797
Premium soft top. 530
Hawaii prep. 995
Shipping. 1195
Total. 37126

My cost: 32,000+1,195(shipping)+995 (Hawaii)= 34,190/37,126 =.92 or 8% below invoice.
If numbers are correct, I believe I got a great deal if 1%-5% below invoice is good.
Hey, again, thanks for the chat and the info on pricing.

Dash, that is a great deal and one heck of a discount off of "island pricing."

Hey, again, thanks for the chat and the info on pricing.
The 23S package price of $2,848 is already included in the Sport S $29,438. No need to add it again. You only add $2,848 to the Sport price of $26,590 to get the Sport S price of $29,438.
$26,590+2,848=29,438.

Your invoice before destination and shipping is $32,088. Your sale price of $32,000 is $88 below invoice. Again not a bad deal but not 8% below invoice.

Just trying to be helpful with the numbers.

Copy all, thanks for the correction. Yes, still feel good about price on exact Jeep I want and like is said, 5 other dealers would not touch 32k.
Cheers

I am grateful for a 13% discount from Dillon. Granted, if the FCA rate is too high, I will just pay cash and lose the $1,000 discount. Dillon's financing is NOT "fishy" - YOU CHOOSE to use it and get an additional $1,000 off OR you do not. No on is forcing you if it does not work for you or you don't want to pick your JL up in Idaho.

Rates, depending on credit, vary from 3-6%. If I do not get 3% I will pay cash or go with different bank/credit union. OR, I could take financing deal, make payments for 6 months, which would cost me roughly $500 in interest, and then pay off or refinance to a cheaper rate - that would be the smart play, still saving me more than $500 (i.e. you have to calculate the actual difference between let's say 4% rate and a better credit union rate of 2.49% - not much over 6 months and far less than $500).

Please do not accuse Dillon of "shady" deals as they are offering one of the BEST deals you could make on a JL. I am really appreciative of the opportunity whether I take advantage of it or not.

Such a "flame on" world we live in now . . . .

I think it’s funny people here are dogging on the financing with Dennis Dillon.... if you go to Jeeps site the rate there shown starts at 3.39% for 60 month with their configuator. Here they want to blame the dealership for something being “fishy” or “shady” for giving an extra 1000 off if the customer does go with the/FCA financing for a minimum of 6 (SIX) months, even telling them they can refinance after the six months. Honestly what are you paying? An extra $10 a month for six months (roughly). It’s not even a requirement to buy, just an added incentive shoul the buyer choose.

Listen folks if paying an extra 1-2% for 6 months to come out $700-$900 more ahead is that big of a hassle (because your credit union is giving customers 2.25%ish) just skip it all together. Stop bashing a dealer because your math and finance skills are below average and it’s a hassle for you to lift a finger and do the math as how to save some extra money if you’re savvy. Yes you’ll have to refinance but hey you got more off.

Between this, golden ticket and Drive Bonus there are a few creative ways to get even better deals.

Just confirming my order with Dillons.
The finance requirements are: maximum 10.000 down payment, use of Chrysler capital on a 72 month loan, 6 payments before refinance or pay off

Thanks. Not meaning to wish your life away, but may the next 6-8 weeks pass quickly. I guess I thought the Dillon deal sounded too good to be true. When I couldn't get them to respond to my request for a PO, I moved on. The bad news, I ended up paying a little more. The good news, I don't have to fly to Boise and then try to break the Jeep in, driving back to SLC on the interstate.

I had the same "to good to be true" feeling, but on the final quote, the sales manager put all the terms in the email, with the price guarantee.
That made me decide to put my signature down
