Installed the Diabolical Slipstream Cargo area security system. This is like having a secure trunk in your wrangler. This is a well thought out product with a couple exceptions, they shipped with instructions for the JK and not the JL (which is significantly different), this added considerable frustration and installation time), Secondly the Powdercoat was very substandard as several pieces had a noticeable splattered finish.

Over all I am pleased, as far are security it is this is the BEST option and is well engineered however quality control could use a little tweaking.

The Rails on top allow you to use the deck as a 2nd level and you can strap down anything on top

The Top Deck folds back for more access (you can also remove the top deck by removing 4 pins located in each corner (takes about 1 minute to remove)

You can also just open it up completely

For quick access for small items there is a lockable door located right behind the drivers side rear seat

One of the big complaints with the soft tops is safely storing the windows , this is a bag I got on Amazon that holds all the windows (rear window id folded with a filler to prevent creasing. Here is a tread that shows storing the windows https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...3-the-cost-of-mopar-and-more-fuctional.17482/

As you can see it is a perfect fit with room left over and now I do not have to worry about my windows walking off when I am parked somewhere...

I have both the soft and the hard tops, the Diabolical Slipstream security system works well with both tops, being in Seattle it is hard top for a few more months so here it is with the Hard Top on

I forgot to ask about the subwoofer quality or dempeming with this. Any degradation?

How are those goo3s treating you?
They are awesome!
We are running them at 27psi. Road noise is about the same as the factory KO2's. The ride is slightly firmer due to the D Load rating, but soft compared to other Mud Terrains we have tried. I'm really impressed with their road manners. I was going to order my wife a set of Milestar Patagonias in the same size when they come off back order, but I may get the same tires for her. :like:

Subwoofer sound is non directional if anything the enclosure enhances the base, however with the control of the Alpine it is a total non issue. When the top is off subs are not overly effective either however I might suspect the enclosure my help with that.

Because the Slipstream uses the rubber gasketing at every loose connection there should not be any rattles whereas the Tuffy enclosure would be a rattle box they way their lid sets on the box.

The Coopers were another awesome MT, but I think the G003's are quieter and ride softer. It's tough to make a fair comparison because I ran E-rated coopers on my 4door at approx the same PSI.

Buddy and I (mostly my buddy b/c he has a full-up garage w/ everything you can imagine...) installed the Warn VR 10-S winch into the factory steel bumper. 7" Mopar LEDs tomorrow!

What did you use to extend the bumpstops?
1 1/4 flexible disposal hose from Lowe’s. Cut a little longer than It measures and then bend it into place. It worked out really well.

I have the tuffy and the alpine and sub and have no rattles at all. The tuffy is solid if you install it correctly and tighten everything down. Works perfect for me.
