Your Jeep looks great brother!!

Where did you pickup the bump stops or did you fab them yourself?

I added a new decal. :giggle:
Finally, I’ve been debating this one for a long time.

Something tells me that there is NOT a tagline to this decal that reads:

"...they have computers figure out the optimal time to do it for them...";)

I like it but I admit I have an auto.
This is actually the first manual I’ve had in 9 years, I bought my last one in Alaska and quickly found out that it was not a good choice for icy roads and kids. Then we got stationed in Las Vegas and traffic was a nightmare so no way to manuals. Now I stay home in hot as hades Texas and traffic isn’t an issue for me so I get to have my old friend back.
Who doesn’t love a good stick? :cwl:

Nada. Nothing. I only saw it early in the morning and just for a bit this afternoon. It's gone again. It's only a couple weeks old. My wife has been driving it for the past week. I think she's taken it over. What am I gonna use for my birdhunting trips?

Mark,
Do you think it will fit in a 2dr with the back seat removed?
Vince
@lightsout is right I don’t think it will be a direct fit. Diabolical will need to make one special for the 2 door. I know he wants to he just needs access to a 2door JL.

@DToxic i haven’t plastidipped mine yet and every once in a while I can hear the pins. I think I’ll plasti dip them and that should solve the issue no problem.

LOL. When electric hits the off-road vehicles, road hunting will fluorish. LOL.

But really, electric makes a lot of sense for off-road, large tire, slow manuevering.

The weight is a killer. I have a Tesla Model s and it is pushing 4500 lbs and it is a mostly aluminum car, the battery weight is crazy. The control is amazing though where as the power is instant and consistent, I doubt today's consumer running gear could manage that with our breaking. With the current JLU with a couple mods and 35"-37" tires that is already at 5k pounds imaging batter weight, then cooling those batteries at low speeds. It has a lot of challenges...

Installed my Jeep Backbone.

That is a nice clean cover, it is the same cost as the Slipstream, too bad it does not have the versatility with opening or removing the top lid or dropping the back wall. Looks great though

Had the Borla Touring exhaust installed. Tried to do myself and of course the flange on the Borla was to small to slip over mid pipe so took it to a shop to have it expanded. This ended up splitting the flange, so they had me bring the Jeep in and they installed, welded the split and put a nice long clamp on so no leaks. Sound is fine, slightly louder than stock, I mainly did this for the looks aspect.
