I think they are trying to rush these out or the demand was too much for them, still it is a well engineered product and puts any other option to SHAME even with the issues I experienced. I wold buy it again it just so happens I am one of the early adopters who has to deal with the bugs.
Ok I’m back on board lol

Don’t forget to plastids the pins.

I dig those tires. I saw you said you liked them, in another post too. I think I’m going to do the same ones though it’s tough with Coopers as the safe choice.
I've had the old Yokohama Geolandars in 38's on one of my JK's and they were an outstanding MT for daily driving. Extremely quiet, with a nice ride. The only downside to those was they didn't have that aggressive MT look. I think they did a great job with the look of the G003's, let's hope the road manners are similar to the old Geolandars. :fingerscrossed:

We would have gone with the Coopers, but I had a hell of a time mounting them on my last set of KMC beadlocks. While I was able to mount them, I think it took me the same amount of time to mount a single cooper as it took me to mount all five of the new Maxxis Razr MT's. The bead on the Coopers just seemed a little too small in diameter to go over the mounting lip. Now the Coopers are no comparison to the Razr's. The Maxxis seem to do a little better offroad, but the on road manners of the Coopers are far superior.

Tires looked mighty meaty sitting in front of your stock wheels. I had to look twice before I noticed!
LOL, I purposely placed the tires that way and took the picture at an angle that made it look like they were on the wheel. My business partner(owner of the Jeep) thought I photoshoped them on to the Jeep at first glance on his phone.

Not sure that is needed or even feasable, the front wall pins are a little off, I have tried adjustments so there is no way plasti dip will work on those unless I drill out. I will wait and see if there is any squeaks first

You know you could be absolutely wrong in the way you took his reply! It possible that he was so amazed at your hack that he wrote what he did!

Any way you put it I think you really came down pretty hard on a one sentence reply! You wrote a very long winded reply with a lot of useful info though, thanks for that!

I actually thought your hack was pretty ingenious and money saving!

Just need to learn to lighten up and take it easy and not get offended at what others might post!
Thank you for your compliments. That said, I couple of thoughts here @Turfman . @OkieMizzou remains silent but you feel that his reply, of "You've got to be kidding. Really?!" ***might*** be compliment coming from a guy who proposes to outfit his rig https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/back-from-bangkok-overland-build.19721/ with more purchased gear than I spent--by a large margin--on my first car? Even with one sentence, does this guy really strike you as the DIY build it yourself hack sort? Did you check this link before you replied? It was in my response, and I certainly did.

And again, mod your rig with purchased gear: fine by me, in fact me too.

You may be missing some reading between the lines here, I say matter of factly, not condescendingly to you. @Rhinebeck01 would never like a post aimed in my direction unless it was derogatory. Ask him yourself. I think there's a better chance of getting mauled by a Snow and Brown bear on the same day than this post of @OkieMizzou 's being complementary. (Now go change your like @Rhinebeck01 .)

Still more, I think you missed something. I couldn't care less of someone doesn't like a hack I put forth. What gets me is when some newbie or for that matter relatively seasoned participant is treated with sass, or, in this case, provides it. I assure you, while no way am I a moderator, the moderators also big here on decorum. In fact it more bothers me when it happens to others, than me.

I don't think I came down on him too hard at all. He's 20 posts in and he's putting down people's creativity all while offering none of his own? I don't know if ignorance of its existence prior to making his own build thread or self-indulgence finds him not putting his build progress where everyone else does. Let him get the message loud and clear that the bboard is a collaborative place, which means he "ups" the useful information he provides and "downs" the criticism of others good intentions. This isn't to say he can't offer his opinion or constructive criticism, but I don't think it will kill him to earn some good will points here first.

I doubt he walks with his tail between his legs. If he does, let it motivate us all, myself included, to think twice and post once here.

Been on the road or working on my Jeep since Friday and I come back to a damn soap opera talking about respect not being given by rookies and vailed “likes” being used as a way to make a personal jab.

Go on, I’ve got the popcorn and finally belong since we’re owners now

Your entitled to your opinion sir. Just base it on fact ok?

"What gets me is when some newbie or for that matter relatively seasoned participant is treated with sass, or, in this case, provides it. "

All members, which you absolutely were before during and even after Wrangler ownership should play nicely or (not directed at you) face rebuttal.

The guy that was talking down about your handles was a newer member. I don’t care if he was member #1 or 44000 he was being a dick. However, seniority has no place here because others don’t give a crap about it. Easiest thing is for people to just not be dicks and if they don’t like something, ignore it. That’s what I do when I see 20s+ wheels or gaudy mods that aren’t my taste. Don’t get butt hurt about it and think you can change poeple. Instead they will jack with you and when you take the bait, hammer you. It’s very common in blue collar America which I’m proud to be apart of
