  1. Roam sidestep Rust

I really feel badly for those who got screwed. Next keg party, you all are invited!
  2. Roam sidestep Rust

I guess I was lucky. I Line-X'd mine as soon as they arrived, installed them at least a year ago. And there's no rust that I can see. <shrug>
  3. Do I need spare tire relocation kit after mounting 315/70/17 tires on Rubicon wheels?

You might need to relocate higher to avoid tripping the back up sensors, if you have that option. I had to do that. Went with the RC bracket.
  4. Roam sidestep Rust

I guess I was lucky? I was definitely one of the first frame mounted rails, got them line-x coated before I installed them. They've been through Florida rain since I got them, and there's no rust to be seen. (shrug)
  5. Roam sidestep Rust

    Gen1 were e-coated?
  6. Roam sidestep Rust

The new rails are e-coated, so rust shouldn't be a problem anymore. It's what other vendors are doing these days. As for waiting time, I'm not sure. I'd go by what the latest posts.

Holy !**@...I was lucky to have bedlined them as soon as they arrived. No rusting, yet.

  9. Raider Rack System: Interior Storage for Tailgate

I haven't added anything else yet. But if you get the right sized hardware elsewhere for cheaper, then go for it, for sure. It's really easy. No drilling. But I did snip off a couple plastic offsets.
  10. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

Regarding texture, the sliders normally come with a smooth texture, but I had mine line-x'd. The Line-X texture grips very well.
  11. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

100%. I've seen the crunching. If I do decide to wheel harder than I envision, I'm seriously considering ace sliders with the factor rails.
  12. Giveaway of the Month - June 2019 - Full Set JL Wrangler Inner Fender Wells

Because I need my first MetalCloak mod! Edit: And I couldn't get up early enough to get a Jeep Beach t-shirt!
  13. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

You're welcome. The gap's not noticeable.
  14. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

If you're standing almost against the doors, you can see a gap.
  15. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Mopar 2" Lift, Pro Comp Rockwells, KO2s.
  16. Did Jeep Officially "OK" 35s on Rubicons?

Yup, that's an odd disparity. But since DT is installing them, and lots of folks have successfully done out, I think it's a petty safe combination.
  17. Did Jeep Officially "OK" 35s on Rubicons?

    Discount Tire Direct specs the 315 70 17 C for 7.5-11". :)
