Well, appliance shopping took forever. Went to Best Buy where they price matched the other guys. I went with GE Profile because I refuse to pay absolutely crazy prices and have had good luck with their appliances. I chose Black Slate which looks like a matte charcoal gray and is fingerprint resistant. I decided on a microwave drawer which isn’t available yet, but is kickass.
We went black slate with our fridge and dishwasher. Really like it, feels timeless too, not fad-ish. Thinking induction for the range ... Dan, thoughts?

@Smarrtazz ............I should have mentioned Ferguson's to you and I apologies for that . I use them as My preferred Vendor and sometimes get a better deal . I am glad you went with the drawer Micro ....It may take some getting use to but is so much more practical

Black slate is new and really attractive !!! ...the fingerprint proof is important also and should have been out years ago !

Induction cooktops are also somewhat new but I'm not 100% educated on them yet . We do install a lot of them though !

I'm into the Gas ranges and cook tops myself ...they have come along ways

OH and Good Morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think I shared my lunch exploits on my way to DFW Friday. Many shrimps were sacrificed at Mount Wannahockaloogie

??? I'm not getn it ???
Ha! Guitar pickup designs. Single coil are brighter - think Fender Stratocaster. Humbuckers are out of phase double coil to cancel the hum caused by electromagnetic interference of the magnet/wire antenna pickup. Provides a darker, louder sound - think Gibson Les Paul.

That’s a hula Santa..and those are upside down elf legs in the bushes.
**it wasn’t quite dark enough when I took the photos, but you get the idea :) Not perfect, but festive.
Very nice! Thx for sharing and glad you had a good time with sis.

I have a Rival CrockPot - the name brand. Oval, 12x9 or so. A bit big for just me, but I can fit a side of spare ribs in there. It's got a few miles on her (not including the 700 to and from Vermont ;) ); I got it when I moved out about 10 years ago.
