I have a Rival CrockPot - the name brand. Oval, 12x9 or so. A bit big for just me, but I can fit a side of spare ribs in there. It's got a few miles on her (not including the 700 to and from Vermont ); I got it when I moved out about 10 years ago.

Well, appliance shopping took forever. Went to Best Buy where they price matched the other guys. I went with GE Profile because I refuse to pay absolutely crazy prices and have had good luck with their appliances. I chose Black Slate which looks like a matte charcoal gray and is fingerprint resistant. I decided on a microwave drawer which isn’t available yet, but is kickass.

I do have a nice GE 1500W countertop microwave, "acquired" from a previous tenant in my old place. Mfd. 2005. Still kicks ass.

This last client spent 23K on here Micro , dishwasher , range and fridge - VIKING

I have one finishing up inland and they spent 43K - SUB ZERO

and then I have clients in Siesta Key who went with all GE and spent 3200.00 for all

Your Sub Zero client spent more on their appliances than I spent on Gabrielle.

If you have a double oven or room for one, we did this, The top oven is a Microwave plus convection oven ... LOVE it.

My parents have one of those now. My mom HATES it. The oven is too small, it only goes to 500F, the microwave door is stupidly heavy, and the cooling fan turns on when the oven is warm.

Speaking of phone in lap, I saw a person recently with their ipad sitting on the steering wheel, typing with one hand, and attempting to hold on to the wheel & ipad with the other. ON THE INTERSTATE DURING MORNING DRIVE TIME
