I do wish there was better communication from the factory to the buyer or dealer who placed the order. I know many are frustrated about hanging in D status and I am one of those. Does anyone in build status have a soft or dual top? I know this has been questioned but does anyone have a better idea if it's the soft tops holding some builds?

my dual top rubi has shipped as has a few others.

Just received a text from my dealer that I am D1 status with an estimated ship date of January 25th. Progress!

That makes like 5 of us that got this same notice between yesterday and today. Jeep must be throwing a chunk of JLs in the mix then.

Once we get our Jeeps, this crappy tracking will all be nothing but a memory. Just roll with it and the day will come! In the mean time, maybe the tracking will get a little better. I'm just dreaming of a sunny day with the doors off, top down, and driving through the mountains or crossing a long bridge over blue water! Wacky tracking system be damned, I'm thankful they didn't screw up the Wrangler. As you all know, there is nothing anywhere like it. It really is a dream machine, so until you get it, just dream about the places it will take you and the things you'll do with it!

This is getting too discouraging..... placed order Oct 30th and still in D1. I may pull the plug and get something else. I just have no belief it will actually GET built AND MAKE IT TO ME rather than to who knows where.
I started looking at other vehicles today. Made me sorta sad but I also felt a lot of relief, it was weird. Gotta get off this ride. Cant have this much uncertainty for buying a vehicle.... been as crazy up and down as buying a house haha!!! Good luck everyone!!!!

I thought the same thing when trying to get my corvette. It took me about 8 months of waiting. I looked at and drove other vehicles but then everytime I saw a corvette on the road I knew it’s what I wanted.

Patience is a virtue, it’s hard as hell, but you’ve already gone through the hardest part. Once it moves out of D1 it’ll be at your dealer in no time!

For those of us that got notified yesterday and today that we are D1 with shipping dates of 1/25. I wonder if we will follow the trend of the estimated shipping date actually being more like the build start date. A lot of folks that are in the process found that their original ship dates turned into their build start dates. Hopefully we are different and tracking is getting better!

Thank you for always being upbeat! And thanks to @JAY and @JLWF Dealer Guy for all you have done for this forum. As some of the orders trickle in, and hopefully @newJLUguy gets a resolution, the rest of us waiting are trying to remain patient. I am just like all the rest of you, excited, giddy, and nervous about one of the most amazing vehicles to appear in 10 years (my opinion only). FCA is working hard to build us a fantastic Jeep with no problems. So we all just have to have a little more patience. I can't thank everyone on the forum enough for your guidance and your support @ThirtyOne. I dream every night of driving my 1st Jeep Wrangler and I can't wait to become an official member of the Wrangler family.

I was told by the chat line that mine had a 1/12 ETA. I was told by my dealer that i have a 1/12 ship date. but not even a blip of movement on the tracking sheet here.

Thanks for all of the encouragement and I agree if it were not for this Forum, I really would be going insane playing the waiting game. I am not sure who will be happier......me getting my JL or my wife who has to listen to me giving constant reports of the Forum.

No, @JLWF Dealer Guy said he didn't see any manuals in transit in the whole country yet.

There’s no good answer. I’d say inside of 3 weeks you’ll have it. Depends on how long it sits in rail yards and in the truck pick up lot. I’ve had them go out quick and I had them sit for several days waiting for a truck pick up to drive it 2 hours to my dealer.

Yea my wife has reduced me to 1 youtube video, and 1 2 minute or less conversation that has anything to do with the new Jeep per day while she is around. :cwl:

My salesman is great, I know he gets tired of me texting him every other day....he probably feels like I owe him dinner and a movie at this point.
