11/2. It is Firecracker Red. I've never had a red vehicle, but I bought my wife a beautiful bright red 2 door 95 Chevy Blazer years ago. It was stunning in the sunlight when cleaned up. I'm normally either have shades of blue, gray, or black, like business suits. I thought I'd brighten it up a bit with this one! My JK, for example, is Steel Blue. Love it, but I couldn't go with a similar color family when they'll be next to each other in the garage. I like contrast!

Wish the steel blue was available. That is really the color I would want. I’m a metallic guy. Loved the Hydro, so Ocean is as close as I can get. Now, just wondering if the late colors and the power top will come out at the same time. I’m in on both if so!

That’s awesome that you’re finally toward the end of your build. I too chose the red and have never owned a red vehicle. I loved the red contrast with the dash.

I would have gone with Ocean Blue if it were available. Part of me is glad it wasn't, though, so I can get out of my routine. I do love that Steel Blue JK, though. The paint is still perfect on it. It has only been hand washed, so no swirls, or anything. Really impressive after 10 years.

I agree that Hydro is the ultimate blue. Wow, would that look good on the JL, especially on the grille!

More progress! Mine has hit KZ! The ETA says 1/16 to 1/22. I'm guessing that means estimated time of arrival at the dealership? Have the ETA's been accurate at all for anyone up to this point?

Again, mine is a dual top manual, for those wondering.

Dan, I see the Dealership Location added, Thanks @JAY! We have similar dates for eta. So safe to say next week, right? So that does that mean based on our codes it's actually shipped? Dealer told me today his system showed me KZ code L, I believe. (L meaning released). Anyway why am I spouting off? Because if it shipped today or tomorrow I'LL have it Friday or Saturday . I'm only in Baltimore,(not really that far) and dealer said no rail cars here, straight from the plant on the truck to dealer. Sorry for rambling..... Lol

Lol! Mine is under 4 hours from Toledo, if by road. I think, though, that there is major rail traffic between here and Toledo, so I still wouldn't be surprised if they stuck mine on a train, but who knows? Man, I'd better just get the money ready. That danged thing could get there tomorrow for all I know!

That's what I'm saying you never know. You are close af! We have plenty of train traffic too, CSX most notably, nor sure why dealer said they don't train them. We'll see. Any day........

I'm going to ask my salesman in the morning if they truck them from Toledo. Man, I hope they do. I'm certain it will come much more quickly. A train might not come in a straight line, then there's loading/unloading. WIth the truck, the driver might stop at a choke and puke, but can make the pickup and delivery in one shift, if there aren't too many stops.

The manager at my ex-dealer called and said they wouldn’t honor the tread lightly discount after saying they would. I placed my order in October. My order is still in D1.

I think it’s time to start new. Placed a new order with Craig at Koons today. Great guy and super quick!

This is getting too discouraging..... placed order Oct 30th and still in D1. I may pull the plug and get something else. I just have no belief it will actually GET built AND MAKE IT TO ME rather than to who knows where.
I started looking at other vehicles today. Made me sorta sad but I also felt a lot of relief, it was weird. Gotta get off this ride. Cant have this much uncertainty for buying a vehicle.... been as crazy up and down as buying a house haha!!! Good luck everyone!!!!

Jeep chat is starting to get fed up. I asked for an update and this is what I just got in response:

" Alex: I would recommend following up in around a week for updates on the vehicle's progress through the build process, seeing as the order was made on December 28. It does take a bit of time, we want to make sure your vehicle is at it's absolute best. "

Maybe enough of us asking for regular updates daily will get them to complain to their management and get the damn tracking system working again on their website.

What is the difference between how a dealership looks at your status and how this thread gets the statuses? My dealership says I am in D1 yet I am not recognized on this excel spreadsheet yet..besides my von.

Ordered! Triple black Rubicon STICK. Was quoted 4-6 weeks although not terribly encouraged that this will be accurate by some of the posts up here with orders going back to October. These are not cheap vehicles and anyone custom ordering is paying an almost sticker price premium in most cases -- you would think in 2018 they could get the online tracking to work properly. Let me know when the JLWF tracking service is available again, it would be very much appreciated. Glad to get back into a Jeep (if it ever arrives...)

Hi, sorry for the repeat, but how do I track my JL unlimited Sahara. It was ordered December 19, I have a vin number. Also, has anyone noticed on the MSRP that the electronic infotainment sys group is priced at (retail) 1495, when it should be 1295?
