Build Mistake

Hey All, Im new to the Forum, congrats on all the new purchases on the JL's.

Mine was just delivered today, and although I built it, it came without the LED Group, which was something I really wanted. Any recommendations before I tell the dealer to find me what I ordered!

Assuming you built it and were invoiced for it, tell the dealer and Jeep Cares that what you want what you ordered and want it to be expedited. There is a 'front of line' type of status if you qualify, although the speed of it is not to some people's liking.

If you like what you got, wait until April/May of next year and they will have a LED upgrade kit. I was told that today by a parts department, he even gave me a part number that will be listed under accessories. It’s not there yet, though. Part # 82215136AC. So, if you like what you have , you could wait till then and make them give it to you at DEALER cost. That’s what I am doing.

Don't accept it and try to convince yourself you can do without or will add it later. Get exactly what you want! Do not take delivery!

^ This is the right answer. Don’t settle. You’ll regret it. (I have the LEDs and they are flipping awesome.)

In my case, I was able to choose between the only 2018 Black 2-door Rubicons in most of Florida. The one I bought was sticker of 45,200, cloth seats (my wife wanted them), and no steel bumpers, no LED package, with a 3-piece hard-top. The other had a sticker of 49,900, soft-top, leather seats, LED package. My dealer will get me the LED package at their cost when they become available. I got mostly what i wanted, and will get the LED’s when available, happy wife, happy home!
