I'm not following, what exactly are you saying?
I took that to mean that except for 1 of the orders from Koon's none are showing on the D1 tab of the spreadsheet.

My lease ended Dec. 7th. They told me I could extend the lease up to 3 months but it should be here by mid February assuming nothing goes wrong. They also told me that if it didn’t and I was at the end of the 3 months but had a better eta on its arrival they would consider extending it longer.

The major issue with this is it’s just throwing away money because the lease payments I’m making now don’t go towards the value of the car. So if I decided to just keep my GC and not get the JL it would be like that money didn’t even exist. You’re basically just renting the car once you go past the lease time.

Not for nothing but I think you guys gotta give Jeep a break. This is a brand new vehicle very different than past wranglers and I’m sure there’s a whole new factory/setup/building that is required to make it all work. They are probably pumping out the vehicles they deem to be the easiest and fastest to produce right now.

It does suck that for a lot of you who ordered real early that other people might be ahead but I think that’s your dealers fault. I could’ve ordered in October as well but my dealer warned me against doing so and had me wait until December. It wasn’t until 12/26 that he said he could take my order with any sort of certainty as to what I’d be ordering and assuring that the order would go in and go in properly. I mentioned that other people had already been ordering and he didn’t even understand how that was possible. He was thinking maybe they were taking the orders but they couldn’t be actually put in as a request until that day. He said what if they order and then that salesman isn’t in for a week and the order doesn’t go in when the actual orders can go in or they forget or whatever.

So, not that I truly have any idea as to what’s going on and I feel bad for those who are having issues but who knows what’s going on. I think there’s a lot of variables here. Not to mention the general work ethic of today is not what it used to be.
Did you order a manual or Auto?

Since I was told I am in D with a VIN and the SS doesn't show any of this, does that mean there maybe a problem?

Not sure how the SS tracking updates.

Ship to dealer change is normal. Majority of the time, it is moving from, “not assigned” to the actual dealer. I’ve been going back to the original orders since yesterday and the are some questions. I’ll be posting something later today in a new thread to help everyone answer this question. “Did I really order a Jeep or is that what i’m being told”?
Appreciate you looking in to this but let's take this offline until we know more about what happened. You have my email.

My VON (40389793) that I emailed you last night has the following
  • Options: 4EA Sold Vehicle
  • Order Type: Retail
  • Scheduling priority: 1-Sold Order
So, if that's not the magic formula then this whole forum would like to know what is.

Just tracked mine I’m in JS with a few others ..says shipped to storage ... Wonder what there doing just ship the dam jeep!!

I work for a multi-billion dollar conglomerate and I know shit happens that's outside of our control. There are so many moving pieces and ways this could have happened but I would like more of an explanation.

My dealer and his manager have been very helpful in this situation and I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

After some communication with Tyler and searching in ways that are specific to the order process....Tyler, you got 100% hijacked. I'm really sorry to say that. I was honestly hoping for an error within the system. Ordered incorrectly, maybe the dealer told you a FCA order was yours because it was the exact build, not the case. Your order was correctly put in by your dealership, not their fault. I hate to say that I hope this is the only instance of this happening but I feel unfortunate that it happened to you.

Thanks, I also ordered from Koon's on 12/29, Sahara, not showing up on tracking sheet but got email from Craig yesterday with VIN and said I'm D1. I know Jay said his tracking can be a little behind dealer system so we shall see when I do show D1 on here.
Did you ask Craig for an update or did he just send you the update? So far I haven't heard anything from Craig unless I send him an email, and then he does get right back to me.

Sorry to hear about what happened I ordered a Jeep that is in D status and another dealer called me and said that have a Jeep comin in that’s 100% the same as what I ordered. I already put down a deposit on the Jeep so it’s licked in and I checked with FCA yesterday and it was shipped on the 6th. I would like to offer you the Jeep that should be here in a week or so of if you like and I will wait for my original order. Let me know and I can shoot you over a window sticker so you can see what it has.

I sent him email and he got right back to me. Funny thing is I called FCA and they had nothing by VON and I still am not on here as to D1 status but Craig even gave me my VIN.
When I called fca they had nothing by my von but I gave them my vin and they said D1 and even confirmed my name on the order. But I still show D on the spread sheet.

I am so very sorry this happened to you. I spoke with a smaller Jeep dealer near me, and I talked to him about your situation (general terms). He said he's not surprised. He did tell me there's a Rubicon that's supposed to be delivered Monday to his dealership. He said he would call me when it arrived. I told him good luck with that. If you want to PM me I will be glad to find out more information and get you in contact with this dealer. I don't think we are too far for you to drive to get this one. I hope this helps. Thanks for digging into this - although it doesn't fix the problem at least I know something outside of my control happened. Man, my kids and even my wife were bummed to hear the news. We were hoping to dive it to a tournament this weekend. They were all excited to have one of the first new Jeeps and now I'm back to square one.:(
