I’m curious what the popular opinion is since my GF and I disagree.

When it comes to putting souvenir stickers from a certain place on your Jeep, do you think the Jeep itself has to have been there, or is it enough that you were there? I’ve gone a lot of places, but it seems a little silly that I “CAN’T” put a sticker on my new Jeep just because I didn’t own it yet when I went on my trips over the years.

Does the sticker commemorate you, or your vehicle?

Do you have pictures in your home of cool vacations you took with ex-girlfriends? Even though they may be fond memories and cool photos, I'm guessing you don't display those with your current girlfriend.

Similar to your Jeep. My vote is that the stickers show where it's been.

I'm kinda anti sticker for anything. I've actually bought stickers for my Jeep but I can't bring myself to put them anywhere. I've actually removed all the factory decals as well. It's a mental thing for me. I've got UH1H Huey and Army Veteran stickers but I just can't bring myself to put them anywhere. ha.

Not a fan of stickers, myself.

To apply destination stickers to a vehicle that has not actually been there seems to be a bit misleading.

You can always put one on the glass where it’s easy to remove. I’m thinking on putting them on the inside of the freedom panels so they don’t overwhelm the outside appearance.

Okay, I'll be different.
1. It is your jeep, do want you want.

Once you have more than a few stickers they seem to loose purpose. Sure one or two will stand out, but most will see a bunch of stickers and say, wow, that dude likes stickers.

I totally agree that a bunch of stickers looks trashy.

100% agree. My preference is to have zero sticker on my Jeep, I even removed the "RUBICON" sticker on the hood and the "Wrangler Unlimited" on the sides.

Hey - put your Army Veteran on the back window. When my JL arrives I'm putting a VVA (Vietnam Veteran's Association) sticker on the back window. At the very least it is a conversation starter :)

Sticker posers are people who haven't "been there" but want others to think "they've done that."

As for me and some of my badges:

"Best Brownies dad"
"Most valuable Daisy's dad."
"7 year old girls fiasco camping trip 2012"
"Awesome Girl Scouts dad and Troop adviser"

jealous, aren't you?;)

I don't like stickers on my car, but destination stickers on your jeep could look cool.

Now all those political or thought provoking ones I'm not a huge fan of...
