Do you have a link to that cargo liner? I went to their website, and the pictures they show doesn't have it covering the sides.
The sides are an optional add-on, costs an extra $40 to add them to your liner:

https://www.canvasback.com/index.ph...ngler-jl-4-dr-cargo-side-pieces/category/205/

I wasn't sure I was going to like the side pieces but they fit reasonably well and definitely help complete the protection in the back whether seats up or down.

This is the best mount i have seen. Thank you for sharing. Will try to find the same.
Do you already have experience with loading capacity? how durable is this set up? Planing to install it myself with tablet, phone and GoPro. It is a really nice solution but unfortunately alway out of stock :cwl:

The extinguisher itself is attached to the bracket with a huge sticky heavy duty velcro strip and 2 individual velcros to secure it even better. For the base bracket I used 2 one inch heavy duty Cordura straps with over-center brackets to tighten them real good. Was a bit of a hassle to get the over-center fasteners tight enough with the thick corder but it worked out.

I'm curious Simon. Could the extinguisher have been installed on the Sports Bar such that it could have been a tad lower and not had its top strap sit at the very bottom of highest piece on the Sports Bar, as it makes its descent into the tub.

I ask because access to said piece is a necessary part of soft top installation.

I've queued up a visual for you if my wording on this post is less than clear:

Thanks

I guess it makes sense to think about a different location if someone carries the soft top. in my case, I have the hardtop installed. therefore I don't really need that space.

I also checked the rollbar for potential mounting spots since the bracket comes with pre manufactured holes. would be too nice if that would have fit... but since it didn't, I had to get a little creative and come up with a mounting solution.
still I´m not really happy with the hanging handles, so I need to think about something to tug them away or rotate them the other way around so they are out of sight.

I installed backup lights (and wired them to the AUX switch). They're Rigid Ignites and they're very small, especially compared to the light output! Those wires are very tiny though!

Double tow hooks? What gives bro? :movember:
I'm probably a tad strange, but it would bug the hell out of me to have double tow hooks and not have them be opposites of each other. In other words, both hook openings with either have to each face each other towards the center of the vehicle, or both facing outward.

I hear you!

Good to see another Rubicon getting used as it should.
- such scratches will trigger fond memories for years to come.
Exactly.....took my boys trout fishing last month. One of them some how got a hook stuck in the seat of his pants and when returning to the hotel I found my new leather Rubicon seats had a couple of scrapes from the offending hook. At first I was a little hurt that the new seats were no longer perfect.....but now I look at those scratches and I have great memories of our fishing trip. I’ll never repair or refinish the seat. It’s the new Jeep to the family and it’s making memories just like my previous Jeep.
We catch-um, clean-um & fry-um up right at the pic-nic table.
Rubicon is making those lifetime memories with my boys.

Curt’s Jeep Jl Towing Hitch Receiver; $ 80. Only takes 30 minutes to install.
Took me an hour just to figure out how or get a wrench to hold the nuts so I could torque them down properly.
After trial and error, I found that sliding a box wrench inside the rear bumper , I was able to hold onto the nuts inside of the bumper. Tighten the two inside bolts first, then the two outboard bolts afterwards.
Had I have known these tricks in the beginning the install would have gone quickly.
Live and learn.
Total time to get the job done: ......I ain’t saying....I am too embarrassed to admit, but I got it done and done right.
