2018 Jeep JL Rubicon & 2004 Jeep TJ. Previously owned 1993 Cherokee, 1980 CJ5, & M151A2 while in the Military. For the love of Jeeps !
Today I brought some color on to the black interior.
Red anodized aluminum covers for my Volume, Tuner, Fan Speed, and Headlight knobs.

This is my daily driver so bringing groceries home has been a struggle to keep groceries from spilling out of their bags. I realize that this isn’t a “Mod”, but damn it works great for little things you buy that you don’t want rolling around the back of the Jeep.....heaven forbid cover my subwoofer.
Found these two heavy duty baskets at Walmart. They beat the milk crates that I had back there and better than the “organizer”that I had back there also. The baskets keep all the contents within and I can pile the bags up in each one. I realize the baskets don’t look “Jeep-Cool”....but they have earned their place in the back of my Ruby
C-17...... I was just reminiscing.....I use to parachute out of these aircraft..... just a “few” years ago.
Now the only jumping I do....is in & out of my Rubicon.

Not trying to be a jerk, but what is that little thing supposed to do? Put out matches?!

How much chemical does that hold, looks very small..
I wondered the same thing the first time I saw it. And although I don't have one yet, I'm going to be picking one up. I found this chart compelling.

Jeep Wrangler JL What did you do TO your Jeep JL today? comparison_chart

Basically, it's rated for all kinds of fires, it's 20% the size of a traditional can, and lasts 5 times longer. It's basically miniaturization technology come to fire extinguishers. But as with other miniaturization, the drawback initially is cost.

Having said that, the relative cost is high compared to cheaper alternatives, but the absolute cost is pretty low. At least by Jeep standards. ;-)

Updated post to my controversial spare lug nut install.

So I bought two wheel studs at Advanced Auto Parts part # Dorman 610-329. They were the right thread and length to place in the two empty stud holes on the spare.

I took the spare off, pushed the studs through and tightened on the extra lugs nuts I had. They mount fairly flat but I went ahead and added a few washers to the two upper studs so the spare mounted straight vertically..

Turned out well and it finishes off the spare. One bonus, maybe a thief will try to unscrew the dummy lugs first and the extra time it takes to figure it out allows me the time to hear them and grab the 1911.

For those that did not see this post, here is info on how to add lug nuts to those unsightly lug less spare tire holes that are lets say safe to others... 8-)

I have attached a pic of mine (not thta great a pic) with the additional lugs installed////safely installed.... using Dorman 610-329 wheel studs.
