1-800-992-1997. Wait through the first menu, then the 2nd menu will give you the option for Jeep, which is 2. That will get you to a human being, or at least a reasonable facimile of one.

I’ve always generally seen that E F G I status can happen in a day, sometimes also get skipped unless you are looking like every hour for new status. I’d give it time all. I know it’s tough to wait.

PLEASE READ:

As far as the FCA tracking system goes, it can lag behind at times and it's random. Sometimes for some vehicles and not for others. Other times it is right up to date. As of now it is somewhat screwed up for all the new vehicles (JL, Demon, Trackhawk).

Note that the SELLING dealer will sometimes have access to more information for their vehicles than what can be pulled for other dealers' vehicles. The SELLING dealer can also see status points from "BA" to delivered. But using the nationwide search, one can only see points starting at "D1", then "E" (framing) and then "I" (built pending inspection). It skips everything else like trim, paint, etc., which the selling dealer can see for their own vehicles.

It's important to keep in mind sometimes dealers get confused (or do not know the difference) between "D" and "D1". Owners will post "my dealer says I am in D1 but you do not show this status yet". But when we look up the VIN we often find it is not actually in D1 yet (the system will show "information not found" when in D status or prior).

Also, VINs are assigned at the "D" level, some people (dealers included) think this means it's in D1 when it's not.

And (surprise!) some dealers will just lie and tell customers what they want to hear or to tell them some "good news" to keep them from getting upset when impatient ("your vehicle is in D1 and ready to be built soon", or "your vehicle will ship any day now", or "your vehicle is shipped" etc.).

These are all important things to keep in mind while you're waiting. I know the wait (and initial tracking lag) is difficult. Believe me I've been there and will be joining you all soon, but know that we're checking daily and will bring you updates when the new vehicle tracking info catches up. I trust that it will be soon.

FCA line to check if there is any update: 1-800-992-1997 (wait on the line after the initial greeting and options, short silence, then more options, then press 2 for Jeep) But don't believe anything they tell you....

Just out of curiosity, for how many people is this their first wrangler?

I know this is mine and I have been waiting for almost 2 years for it to come out.

First Wrangler but not my first Jeep. My first automobile was a Jeep Grand Wagoneer when I was 16. I've also owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee (~1999 model)

They will say verbatim the same exact thing to you I think they are told to say “Jeep plant has all your parts and will assemble soon” or “your Jeep is in framing and should be completed and ready to ship in a couple days”
Just use the chat it takes like 4 minutes. Just give them full address, vin, and von right away and they will tell you one of those two things.
